This company had a nice website and appeared to have good reviews, so my boss booked travel through them while in Peru. They asked for the full payment for use of vehicles, drivers, and guides upon arrival. My boss paid for his 3 weeks of vehicles and drivers, and went on with his trip.
At the end of his trip on the way to the airport, the driver asked to be paid. My boss attempted to contact JPB Tours office, so that they would tell the driver they were paying him, but couldn't. The office then told the driver my boss didn't pay them either! They stole all his money, and said that he didn't pay, though it was supposed to be "all inclusive".
The driver detained my boss for some time, then decided to take the luggage as collateral, and confiscated all his baggage! He had to catch his flight back to the US, and had to leave his baggage in Peru with the driver!
I wrote a review on JPB's facebook page, and noticed a couple other bad reviews. The crooks changed their facebook page from a business to a community so that no one could put on reviews! I also tried to let people inquiring on their blog know, and they took that down. No wonder it looked like they had good reviews, they remove all the bad ones.
All in all, they cost my boss a fortune, and they were terrible. Don't be deceived by their polished looking website, they have enough money for a good website because they rip off customers.
