Josh Turin is a total rip off, a waste of time and money. He is the reason why I am without a job now, my kids and family have no medical insurance and I no longer have a legal status until USCIS decides to open my DACA renewal case and approve it, which may take somewhere between 2-5 months!!
At the beginning of June 2015, I hired Turin to do my DACA (deffered action) renewal since it was to be expired on September 20015, thinking the process would be easier, faster and more secure I paid him the first $400 he asks for plus the $435 fee for USCIS. He kept on telling me my paperwork was on the way and they had all my info and files ready.
I trusted him and decided to wait until August 2015 I have had no receipts, letters, emails, calls from either him or USCIS, I started to worry and called Turin, He never answered the phone, returned calls or got to me so I decided to go to his office which was empty!! At that point I was very frustrated, worried and afraid I had been scammed. I kept on calling everyday until finally I got an answer, his assistant told me they had moved and gave me the new address so I immediately went by, when I got there Turing was on his office, He did not even know where my file was.. aparently he had lost all of my paperwork when he moved from one office to other and had not sent any of my documents to USCIS as said he did!! He freaked out, I asked him to cancel everything and just give me all my money back, he refused and still offered me to re take the case, I did not want him to do so but he still did so he didnt have to give me my money back, he then sent my application and i got my appointment Sept 21...But my Permit, Driver's Licence Expired on Sept 18!!! So by now I got fired from my job, can't drive without being scared of getting pulled over and get a ticket for expired DL, and the worst is that my kids have been left without medical insurance since I had it thru my employer!
His lack of sense of ugency, being unprofessional, irresponsible and neglecting my case really affect me and my family. Just dont go with him, if you already have a case with him make sure you keep a very close eye on your case, call him, go over to his office, do follow ups on your case, do not trust him!!
