I had almost the same poor treatment and service as the other reviewers, Jesse C. and Alejandro V. The owner Jose Hurtado used deceitful tactics to keep my car from being returned to me. Mind you my balance was at zero.

Car services and repairs were paid in full during this time of him not returning my vehicle. Jose was very friendly in the beginning and accepting of my 10,000 dollars worth of business , but that would change. My car was there just over one year with a workload that should have taken half that time but I didn’t want to rush the work.

When I would stop in from time to time to see the progress, I could tell my car had not been worked on from the last time I was there. After all I understand there’s delays in parts ordered, hard to find parts, defective parts, quality of work and other business that may come in, but mine came together at a snails pace. He simply wasn’t putting in the time I paid him for.

I stayed patient for a very long time giving him the benefit of the doubt. He gave me a date of March 2019 to be complete with my vehicle and when March came and went he continued to give me dates after that but there was always an excuse on why it still was not done. Towards the end of this project I became very frustrated with his excuses and obvious lies.

In July 2019 four months past his date of completion, I had to resort to first filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Bureau of Automotive Repair. He did nothing to resolve my concerns but to use a tactic of saying if I take MY vehicle by force ALL warranties would be voided. A professional person/mechanic/owner would have found a solution for there customer, not threaten to void all warranties.

Around this time he was fully being dishonest and rude because of my filed complaints. What finally worked to get my vehicle back was retaining an Attorney and serving Jose’s Classics and it’s Owner with an Intent to Sue/Demand letter, as well as having The Bureau of Automotive Repair send an investigator.

Finally here in August 2019 and right after his visit from a B.A.R investigator, I have received my vehicle with NO warranty’s, NO guarantees, and my vehicle not complete at all, and having to resort to going through the legal system. Worse experience I’ve had in regards to dealing with a very unprofessional person/mechanic/shop and owner with bad business practices.

Also two of his 5 Star reviewers on Google reviews coincidentally have the same last name (relatives?) with no remarks of their 5 Star experience??!! If I could give this business and its owner a zero star review I would. If you still decide to use this Shop I wish you luck and really hope your experience is better than Jesse C., Alejandro V. and myself.
