I purchased my 2013 Chevy Cruze at Jones Kia, with an extended warrenty.
My vehicle started to act funny in the "service traction control" light came on and the car would lose power.
I took it straight to Jones Kia and had them look at it.
The next day the service adviser called me and told me that the problem was that the negative battery cable and the battery would need to be replaced. Ok, so not that bad. Of course it's not covered on my policy. I asked the gentleman (I believe his name was Sean) what would be the cost of this? He actually gave me a quote for $580.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
This is obsurd. He said we can get this done for you right away..I said no, that my son will pick the car up. This is rediculous. I feel as though he thought I was stupid because I'm a woman. The battery is 104.00 and the cable 15.00 Where does the rest of the money come into it??? I asked him why so high. He said..you need to replace the whole cable ??? This place is terrible!
