On 4/4/2022 I paid $150.00 by credit card for installation of a device on my vehicle and an app downloaded on my cell phone for a 'NoGo'. This is a device advertised to address car thefts for certain vehicles (KIA).
I had problems not being able to always activate and de-activate the app on my cell phone and therefore was unable to drive my vehicle. It appears the app and my cell phone were not a good match.
I therefore, contacted the installer, Jon, via email on 4/6/2022 to explain the problem and request the device be removed from my vehicle and a refund of the $150.00 transactiion that was posted to my credit card on 4/5/2022.
An appointment was made for 4/6/2022 at 10:30am and Jon arrived and removed the device from my vehicle and he took the device with him. He than entered a refund of $150.00 to my credit card via Square and showed verification on his cell phone.
The transaction was pending on my account from 4/7/2022 and than on 4/13/2022 it was no longer pending with no credit issued. I immediately contacted Jon to inform and he advised he was working with Square to resolve the issue.
On 4/16/2022 I followed up and requested feedback and was again informed he was working with Square to resolve this issue and I asked how long this would take and why the refund could not be issued by check or cash.
He informed a refund by personal check, as he did not have business checks, as soon as the problem with Square was cleared. On 4/19/2022 I again contacted Jon and he state he hoped to have the issue cleared with Square and the check issued for my receipt by end of week.
As of today I have not received a refund check and Jon has not responded to my last email of 4/25/2022.
