Purchased a BRAND NEW Rolex for $11,695. After 25 days, I started having problems with it. It turned out to be a lemon. Sent it back to them. TEN WEEKS later, they won’t give me a full refund. I’m still out $3100 AND the watch.
I have purchased several watches from Jomashop. They do sell authentic watches. Having said that, don't fall for their warranty claims. They are false. The issues covered under warrantey are so few and so absurdly restrictive, that it is no warranty at all. After purchasing a brand new Oris, the crown fell off in the first month. First, it took me weeks to get them to reply to my emails. Then, when I finally reached them by phone, they stated that their warranty doesn't cover "crowns falling off", in fact it covers almost nothing at all. They told me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer stated that they will not repair purchases from Jomashop, something Jomashop won't tell you. In essesnce to repair the $800 watch, I will have to spend $650 at a repair shop. JOMASHOP is a scam. BEWARE!!
I've bought from them before and had not problem, but they must have gone downhill. i would not trust getting anything from them.
i do not think they are a scam, but possibly worse i do not think they know what they are doing.
i ordered a watch on jan. 8 for 2-day delivery. i cancelled the order on the 9th as i wasn't sure of the model number i ordered. i did this via their website by sending in a website inquiry as directed for cancellation.
i never received contact from them, so 2 days later i sent a second cancellation note on their website.
i never received contact from them for that either, so after waiting another 2 days i sent in a third cancellation note.
not receiving ANY contact from them i assumed the order might have actually been cancelled, but then on jan. 16th i got an email that the order was being shipped. this is despite 3 cancellations and that i had ordered 2-day shipping, and this was now 8 days after the original order.
i immediately called jomashop, told my situation to a customer service rep and was told he would make sure i was not charged and cancel the order as it may not have shipped, and if it had he would direct UPS to return rather than deliver it. he said he would get back to me the next day.
i did not receive contact from him but checking my bank account there was no charge, so i expected he had taken care of the matter as he had said he would.
NOW, 2 days after this verbal and 4th cancellation of the order, i was charged for it.
i would NOT use jomashop for any purchase after this latest insane episode. i am charging this back through my bank and am livid at what i've had to go through with this company. unless you want the same, i'd not patronize them...in my personal opinion! as of now the charge is still on my account and i may suffer bounced checks and the like from this idiocy.
I bought an automatic watch for my wife. My wife wore it for two days and it stopped. I returned the watch within 7 days according to the 30-day policy. Jomashop would not refund the watch because they said the watch was worn and the links were taken out. I explained to them that when people buy a watch they wear it and they have to take the links out. Jomashop refused to refund the $345.00. It's not the amount of money but the principle. I don't know how BBB can rate them so high with many complaints on the web. Jomashop is not an authorized dealer and sells knockoff used refurbished watches.
Don't try to call them, use their chat support or email them. I finally received a response through chat after 45 minutes of sending my original message. "Amber" stated that customer service was closed, even though I was talking to her at 430pm Central, called their business line at 4pm Central and emailed them during the lunch hour. My issue is that they refused to accommodate my need for a shipping address change, even though I've spent roughly $10K on watches with them within the past 2 years. The only reason I requested the change is because therere was no option to choose a delivery time. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, unfortunately I was informed they have a "new insurance policy" that won't allow you to make any changes to your delivery. Keep in mind you are unable to choose the time of your delivery, so as a person who actually works for a living....this is problematic when they want to deliver at noon. That's correct, you can't request a hold at the facility and pick it up from the shipping provider with state ID, you can't provide electronic authorization to leave your package, and you can't request a new delivery address. Support recommended all of these options time and again which I had already informed them I had tried and weren't valid. Fed up, I stated that I would just cancel my order and take my business elsewhere if I had to work that hard to receive items I paid for. The response from Amber was "please be advised that shipping charges are non-refundable". My response "I won't be paying for s***" Hers... *Support specialist has ended chat*
I bought a Skagen watch from Joma Shop. I had bought many Skagens before and they had lasted years. The numerals/time markers fell off this one in less than 8 months. After several attempts, I finally reached customer service and they said i had to send the watch in for warranty service and I would have to pay the postage. Two weeks later I got the watch back unrepaired with a notation that it wasn't eligible for warranty service due to "impact" and that there were photos. I called customer service and they said that it looked inside like someone dropped it or smashed it against the wall. I assured them that hadn't happened and asked for the photos that they claimed they had; they refused to provide them. I notice a pattern with them not taking reponsibility when things go wrong. Next time I will spend more money for a more honest company.
I bought a watch from jomashop in November. I received the watch for Christmas present in December. Upon opening the watch it did not work. I was instructed to take it to a repair shop and try to replace the battery. Upon doing so the repairman claimed it was a default watch. I called jomashop several times ,sent them several emails and finally got in touch with someone. They told me to send the watch back and they would issue me a refund. Two months later I get in touch with them again they claim they will not send me a refund that the watch was returned damaged. The watch was never worn the watch never worked. They claim they are going to fix the watch and send it back to me and there's nothing else they can do. It's now March I still have nothing
My husband purchased a watch for me for christmas. He was concerned that i might not like it, so was hesitant when he spoke to jomashop.com, but they assured him if i wasn't happy there was a 100% guaranteed refund without a restocking fee. He thought it was a no-brainer, great michele watch, low prices and return policy that was easy and full proof. I did not like the watch and wanted to exchange for another model, but they were out of it. So we got an rma # and returned the watch with insurance. I never took the watch out of the package as i could see when i opened it that i didn't like it. We returned it just as we'd received it...Literally never took it out of the packaging other than to open the box and see the watch. They refused our return!
Said i'd worn the watch and now it was scratched and they couldn't resell it. I never wore the watch. I never took the watch out of the box so how did i scratch it when the plastic was still on the face and the band? We are going to dispute the charge through our cc company. They pulled the old bait and switch and this is how they keep their prices low i suppose. Buy from a reputable company. Buyer beware with this company. So now we're out $1350! i am so upset i could scream. Customer service laughed at us when we called...Yes...Laughed at us and said good luck getting our money back? It's our word against theirs. I am a yelp elite and open table vip. I review companies all the time, positively because the service deserves the good reviews. Trust me when i tell you this is a very unscrupulous company! shame on you jomashop.com for making up lies and not doing what you said you'd do when we ordered. Do not order from them!
