Beware of this company John Whigham Home improvements in Mineola. They are all employees of the SHUT DOWN company vinyl seal.
They use presure tactics for the sales and over charge the elderly.
I used to work for them for one week before i saw what there companys training and sales were all about.
Extremely high pressure sales,
Intentionally price gauging the elderly and the unknowledgable,
Use the typical drop method sales approach, which is used by the lowest form of salesmen to pry on the eldrly and misinformed to think they are getting a deal but in fact there prices are still overpriced for what you get.
Be ware of the upsell when they start the job. They will rip your exiting roof and siding then a salesman aka "project manager" will come tyo the job site and tell you that you HAVE to upgrade due to water damages or rotting due to age.
There commission structure is strongly based on the upsale scare tactic after the job has started.
If they try to upsell you after the job has started i would inform the nassau county division of licencing immidiately.
If they have already upsold you i would also contact the nassau county division of licencing and file a complaint. They will make them refund you the monies owed...
When i trained with them (aka they attempted to brain wash me) they made fun of the vinyl seal company and how they are not and have nver been affiliated with them but i had training manuals from them that actually says vinyl seal on them most of the pages.
They were even to lazy to print new material with there own logos on them.
Do not truct this company. Go with an established company that you contact not there appointment setters calling you and having a stranger come in your house to sell you an inferior product at diamond prices...
