I hired this firm to assist me in what I thought was a cut and dry case. However, I was initially assigned to an attorney in TX who was dealing with natural disasters. Then, my case was transferred to an attorney in AL who did ABSOLUTELY nothing to help my case.
Not only did I have to pay him again to read through my file (which I'd already paid the first attorney to do), I recall sending him my affidavit and all that he suggested was that I add headers (eg. page numbers, name, case number). He immediately began asking me for another lump sum of money for "the next phase".
I quickly decided not to do any further business with them because they didn't seem to be providing me the services I'd expected. Fast forward several years, I decided to pull my case from EEOC and take it to Federal court. The attorney I had review my case told me that blatant failures in my affidavit significantly impaired my case because the agency's ROI definitely doesn't provide any additional help.
My affidavit didn't include any comparators which is critical in winning a case. Additionally, there was "no evidence" in the file. I spent tens of thousand of dollars to find out that my Maloney attorney pretty much sabotaged my case.
Had my affidavit been prepared correctly, there would've been a settlement long ago. I have evidence of this Mahoney Law attorney's response to my affidavit in only saying to add the headers. John P. Mahoney should give me a full refund of all legal dollars paid! This is horrible!!! I am literally mortified.
None of the advertisements of how great an attorney John P. Mahoney may be matters. For all I know, that determination could be based on things other than performance. What I do know is that nothing in my experience indicating a single thing to rave about - I would never recommend this attorney. Never! I plan to file Board and Bar complaints, unless I am fully reimbursed.
