I can't remember who referred me to this contractor named John French in Seattle WA , but here is my review on him.
If you need a contractor and you try to use this one be careful. He is dishonest, sketchy, lies, does not show up, does not complete work etc etc. His work is below average too poor. I question if he even has a contractors license and knows what he is doing.
Through someone I can not remember, I hired him for a job 4 months ago. It was dose average to below average with unfinished area and incomplete. I let it slide and paid him because I needed to get into my clinic room and set up (new space). During that time the lady I rent from also needed a minor job done which she paid him but he never completed it, he also asked for more money after he already quoted.
4 months later I need a tiny paint job done, get a quote and hire him. Give him the paint cans of the paint and tell him if he needs more I will reimburse with a receipt. He takes a long time to do a tiny wall and then the 2 other walls he does 1 coat. Now he needs more paint and we are into a 3rd day. This is a tiny alcove area. He claims the store did not have the paint, but it's a formula. Then he claims he needs more money to buy paint and travel. I tell him that not what we agree to and buy the paint, give a receipt and I will reimburse you. He pulls some "Frank" crap from Shameless and I end up giving him the money cause I just want to job done. It's been 3 weeks and he's had every excuse in the book for why he can't make it, so I asked him to refund a portion of the original money i paid him in full for ($250) plus my extra $75. He then resorts to accusing me of all kinds of BS regarding the agreement. This is your fair warning.
