We reached out to the 'California Eviction Specialists" in an effort to delay an eviction which had been left on our door, we wanted to have our day in court and protest the proceedings. Our initial contact was with "Julie" who assured us that they'd definitely be able to help. We were told Alan SHAY would be contacting us ASAP. She wouldn't give us his address or phone number. This was a red flag. However, he did call and stated he could help, and quoted a price after taking our information. The price 2 days later went up due to "difficulties", when pressed he said he'd meet the price of the 2nd estimate I'd gotten. The following day he asked that we deposit cash into his bank account before he'd provide the documentation. We never heard from him again after the deposit was made. The sherif was at the door in the morning and locked us out with all our belongings inside. He said nothing, no paperwork had been filed. We are now destitute. We spoke with Julie and begged for her help, asking her to please help in finding Allen SHAY and our money. She lied and said that the appropriate documents had "definitely" been filed. She would have Mr. Shays office email us the documents again, as they sent them once already. All lies. All our calls were then blocked . We are in the street without a penny and no recourse because we're broke.
