Joe's av had no intention of selling a tv for the price they had advertised on their website. All they are are a bunch of scam artist that are trying to upsell you to a more expensive tv if not actually the same tv that i was trying to originally purchase. Upon doing further research i could not find any differences in options on that particular tv model i was buying. The company wants you to immediately rate your purchase before you receive your purchase from them. But they had no problem posting on their website my review on my initial response. Could not log back into their site to change my review thoughts.

Placed an order 10/27, followed up numerous times for a delivery dateS). 4 distinct promises for delivery dates, numerous stories, sometimes the company’s employee’s contradict each other. As an example, at thanksgiving, the unit was “on a truck being transferred to a local carrier.” late last week, they tried a bait and switch as “the sony unit is better than lg for oled.’ the people are courteous, but obviously did not deliver and the stories were just shy of a unicorn sighting.

I’m a real customer. My customer number is 34221. The order number for the unicorn was 528404.

When you call customer service, they either hang up or tell you that customer service will call you back.

They never do.

When you email.

I placed my order for a 65" Sony TV which offered free shipping and I received an order confirmation which appeared to comply with their ad. Next day, I received an email with a phone number asking me to confirm my order; I assumed I had made a mistake in my order somewhere. I was advised that they wouldn't free ship to Oregon. I mentioned that nowhere in the order process did they exclude any state in the lower 48 and asked how much extra I would have to pay over the free shipping cost already included in the price - he came back with $199 plus 4% for insurance. I stupidly agreed to this and gave full credit card info as I was anxious to get the TV and the overall cost would still be below the average 'deals'. I then went back to their order site to confirm whether I was wrong and had missed the note regarding states that weren't eligible for free shipping - it didn't show any!! It also didn't mention compulsory purchase of insurance. I then decided I had been caught and called my credit card company who advised me to cancel the order by phone. I called the number I'd spoken to them on earlier and received a curt message that they weren't open on Sundays (they list their times including Sundays 10 -6.) The credit card bank stated they cannot cancel the payment until I receive my statement but they made a record of my call and complaint. I am now very worried, especially after reading some of the complaints against Joesav, that my credit card is probably 'out there'. I have since emailed Joesav a couple of times to cancel my order but this may not be so easy either from the things I've read. I will hopefully receive a reply to my cancellation tomorrow and will call again but it looks to be a useless exercise at this point.

Its amazing companies like these still exist. Not sure how any authority has never investigated them. Its basically like buying a used car online but for electronics. Everybody on the other end of the phone is a character out of the sopranos. Im just so disappointed in myself that i didn't bother to do any homework on these scumbags. When you purchase, they immediately call you, and the bait and switch is on. Free shipping is bs. The tv you ordered is an "8 bit". The sales pitch is incredible, they will not take no for an answer. And then try cancelling. They will not let you out of the order. I have had to go through chase for help on this as i have no other recourse. Without a doubt, the biggest scumbags out there.

Warning: do not buy from joes av in new jersey. Ordered tv on 11/27 - after fighting with them After they charged $2000.00) on credit card, looks like the product will arrive on 12/31 from another company. They do not have inventory - they advertise and then try to find the product to have it shipped. I had to threaten them with litigation and a police report for theft to get them to act. They promised other add ons for free, but in the end, did not include. I am just happy to get tv.
