Joe Chancellor/Joe Chance failed to provide the services I paid him for and I don’t want others to fall into the same trap I did. I paid Joe $25,000 for business coaching and to complete a marketing system for my network marketing business. He roped me in by saying I was 80% of the way there and he would get me to 100%. His offer was, I could pay him $5000.00 for 3 months of coaching which would he would instruct me on how to put a marketing system into place or I could pay him $25,000.00 for 6 months in which he would do the work and put the system into place for me. I am a busy person who didn’t want to have to do it myself, which is why I was looking to hire someone to do it for me. I chose his $25,000.00 package and 12 months later he has failed to deliver what I paid him for. I had read other reports of him being a scam artist, but through our conversations he had convinced me otherwise. He was able to say the right things to me and I believed him. Shame on me.
Anyway, Joe insisted on a fast payment, which should have been my first warning sign. I requested some kind of contract with him, but he just laughed and said he doesn’t do that. I know, second red flag, but I proceeded. Being new to the marketing industry I was naïve. My husband warned me against him, but I really needed some professional help. I spent numerous late nights on video calls with him where he would tell stories and show me some marketing strategies, but he never completed anything to build my network marketing business. He would throw out all sorts of ideas for other businesses, but he never put anything into place that would grow the business I had. He tried to use me to grow his own business ventures and ideas along with his affiliate programs.
Joe was very hard to work with. He would usually only work during late night hours. He would never schedule anything in advance and could go days without responding to phone calls or messages. It got to the point where if he was responding I had to drop everything I was doing in hopes of working on something that would grow my business. Unfortunately, he still has not produced anything that is remotely close to building my business.
Joe did throw a robot on my Instagram account, which never really did anything. In a year it only grew my followers to about 3000. Most of these followers were from other countries and were not a target market that would benefit my business. He also spent time with me searching keywords on Google Adwords, but never put a marketing system in place to grow my business. He tried to continually "assure, encourage, and inspire" me, but never put anything into place for MY business. He also tried to build some other programs which would benefit him, but nothing, that was income producing, was ever done for my business.
I have tried and tried to work with Joe and come up with a resolution, but he refuses to do so. I asked him for some sort of a refund or to complete the marketing system for me. He refuses to do so. He claims I paid him for “consultative” services. No wonder he didn’t want to put anything in a contract. I was willing to peacefully cut ties and pay him the $5000.00 for the do it yourself option, but he refuses. I have given Joe every opportunity to make right in this situation, but he has gone to the point of blocking me from all his social media sites and telling me I need to get over my emotional issues and that this is all a “me issue.” So, beware and smarter than I was. Joe is very nice as long as you don’t ruffle his feathers. If you do, he has no decency, no integrity, is rude, uncooperative, and evasive. I hope my story can save some other individuals who are trying to build a business from wasting their time and money. If you choose to do business with Joe, I highly suggest you both sign a detailed contract as to what services he is to provide. Joe also uses the names Worldwide Chancellor, Situation.Success, and Sweep Media.
Joe chancellor really screwed me over. Basically, i paid him and his business partner $2,500 each, for a total of $5,000. This was money i had taken a long time to save up, as a single woman surviving on her own in a big city. Over the course of about a year and a half, i put away money specifically towards furthering my dreams. I have a humanitarian project that i wanted help with spreading the word further out to the masses.
Anyway, joe and his business partner really hustled me for fast payment, which should have been my first warning sign. I demanded that they at least send me some kind of document or contract for me to review, which they finally did. Being new to this and naive, i didn't have everyone sign it, or get their mailing addresses, or a dates of completion for the work. I needed fast immediate help, as i had a talk show that i wanted to promote that was on a short-term contract. I hired joe & his partner just before my 3rd talk show which was weekly. By the time my 7th show passed, the guys still hadn't done anything to help. I have all these faccebook messages to show proof of me having to haggle them and ask them repeatedly if anything was being done or worked on, or what they were doing to help me.
During all these weeks of basically nothing going on except a few conference calls they had me on, they told me they were going to set me up some sort of "blog" that would help bring in more internet traffic. So in my mind, this "blog" came included with their $5,000 that i had paid them. When i hear the word blog, i think like a blogger.com or wordpress blog site. But no, their "blog" turned out to be what looked like a regular website, one that i'd have to pay an additional $120/month for, which i could tell from looking over this blog that it was a multi-level marketing scam of a blog site. Since joe and his partner had taken over a month to finally send me the information on this blog, i had already hired some other lady to build me a new website, that was about 95% complete. Joe and his partner advised me to cancel my other website and use theirs, but i'd already paid the lady in full and my new website she build was almost done!!! i was furious.
After waiting an entire month, finally something was done: all joe did was slap a robot on my instagram account, without warning me or telling me about what it's effect would be. Instead of actually doing real work himself like many other instagram helpers do, this robot started rapidly following about 3,500 strangers in just about 2 days, most of these strangers didn't even speak english! they were tons of chinese and other language strangers. Then to make matters worse, the robot began to unfollow people rapidly, which included some of my actual real-life friends. When i asked joe about this robot, his advice to me was that i should get another instagram account to follow my real friends. So he could screw up my main account all he wanted with this robot).
The last 2 conference calls that i had scheduled with them days prior, joe didn't come onto the calls, i guess because he just didn't think i was an important client and found other things to do.
So i'd had enough of the bs. I asked them both on facebook for a refund of $2,000 each back, letting them keep $500 for d**n near nothing. Joe's response was he blocked me. His partner, after some effort on my part, finally decided to work with me on the refund, he was cordial and kind, and began sending me my money back. Joe however, wasn't responding to any of my efforts to reach him. I called him once No answer), left him a voicemail No call back). I mailed him a letter, and it came back undeliverable, apparently he moved in the 2 months since i'd mailed him the $5000... So i got a lawyer to try to help me, who just sent out 1-2 demand letters to joe. Joe continuously ignored the attempts to reach him. It wasn't untill i finally sent an email to joe telling him that i was going to ad him, did he finally respond. And his response was heartbreaking. He called me names, and said that i was harrassing him! asking for a refund is harrassment?? He then hasn't responded to me since. Apparently he called back my lawyer's office, and was so rude to the secretary that the head of the firm told her to hang up on him.
So beware everyone, this guy joe has no decency, no integrity, is deceptive, rude, uncooperative, and evasive. I hope my story can save some other poor soul from going through this. I've never had someone basically steal so much of my hard-earned savings and screwed me over like this guy has done.
If you see this joe and decide to file a rebuttal, i guarantee you i have all the evidenced saved to back up my story, including the voicemail from my lawyer telling me how rude you were to them, and emails from your business partner saying you only care about yourself and are selfish.
