JM&A Group Reviews

After recieveing a statement from my car loan, the bank has let me know that the check from my car insurance was received in early august but the Gap insurance through JM &A was never recieved. I called JM&A on 11/13/2020 @ 1:53 pm and spoke to Cassandra regarding the final close out/total loss payment. She stated a check was mailed On sept 30th,2020 and would be making a stop payment this same day. Today the 27th of November, the sepemteber the check or the new check that was supposed to be processed from this Gap Insurance still has not been recieved per the Car Loan Company.

This late payment is now hitting my credit as a late payment and I would be responsible for the two months of payments. If payment is received from JM&A i would get some refund back. How is it Accounts payable did not look into this uncleared payment for these two months?

After reading reviews.....im affraid this will not get taken cared of by the Gap Insurance i was assigned too. It is unfortunate that i worked so hard on my credit, had my first loss on a car, and used my Gap Insurance for the 1st time and i am having such a hard time getting my account closed.

I paid, UP FRONT, for this "Gap protection" when I purchased my car 3 years ago.

My car was just totaled a month ago because someone tee-boned me and my car was unrepairable. My insurance company paid towards my loan what they valued the car at. This company, who's sole purpose is to cover the difference between a person's loan and what the insurance company pays when someone's car gets totaled (no fault of my own) is refusing to do their job.

They are stating that the difference between what my insurance is valuing my car and what they are valuing my car is too great and since I haven't paid off most of my car they will not pay it. Why did I pay for your insurance again? UP FRONT might I add!!! I was not making payments on their contract.

They take peoples' money and then pocket it for themselves! Even the lady on the phone, Mac, couldn't really explain the purpose of getting their insurance as she knows it is a scam!

I purchased a new 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe from Sansone Auto Mall. In 2010 I started having problems with the transmission. After 3 seperate complaints it was finally fixed by the original warranty. After that the real problems started in 2012. In the meantime an extended warranty was purchased.

I have had to replace just about every part of the things pertaining to the wheel base front and back to the tune of about $1100.00, none of which was covered by the extended warranty.

There were a few recalls issued but none of them pertained to the parts I had to replace until I received the last one which was for an undercoating to be applied which I also had done. In the recall notice (which I read carefully) a list of all the parts I had to replace was included along with instructions for reimbursment if I had to get those parts replaced.

So I started the process of making copies of the bills and faxing them to the number provided. I dealt with Tyler West. A few weeks later (after numerous phone calls) I was told that my request was denied. It seems that someone at Sansone denied the claim because the parts were not RUSTED. The recall did not say anything about rusted parts. When I confronted the manager at Sansone I did not get a satisfactory explanation and he did not want to deal with me.

I wanted to go further with this issue but did not know where or who to contact about this useless extended warranty until now. What good is an extended warranty if it does not cover anything? Money down the drain as far as I'm concerned.

Anything I had to replace was not my fault. I consider it shoddy parts & poor workmanship on the part of Hyundai. Never have I had to replace so many parts on any car that I have owned. Now I need 2 more items replaced to the tune of another $1100.00 which is also not covered by the warranty.

For the past 4 years I have been on Social Security and having to pay for these repairs has been a hardship, after all I do have to have a roof over my head. I have thought of getting a new SUV (not a Hyundai for sure) but at this point it's out of the question.

I feel that these repairs which I paid for (cash and credit cards) should have been covered by the warranty especially since the parts listed on the last recall where the ones I replaced. Someone should be responsible for the joke JM&A Group/Fidelity Warranty (and possibly Sansone) is playing on people by promising them the world and giving them nothing. Perhaps the Better Business people should get involved, after all I fell people are getting cheated.
