I brought my 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP in for a tire sensor light. I was told by Mikey the service writter it was a tire sensor He said it would be $250.00 i said ok.
On my way home the tire sensor light came back on so i brought it back.
The next day i was told it was some door lock key sensor and it would be 2 days to get the car back and another $250.00.
I went to pick up my car after i paid Mikey. I started my car and the check engine light was on i pulled off of the lot and my low coolant light also came on.
So on the way home i picked up some coolant.
I pulled my car in the garage parked and pulled the hood release and I couldn't get the release to work.
So i got out and looked at the hood and their were 2 dents on the body line on the driverside of the hood.
I than started looking at the hood and noticed it was bent on the driverside back corner.
I called Mikey back and told him he said bring it back and that hood wouldn't open and they had to reach around to open it.
It opened a few days before when they worked on it he said yes and that i must have done something to it.
I called my lawyer and he gave me a reputal shops phone number so i took my car there and its being fixed the right way And they said they will stand with me at small claims court if it goes that far.
F.Y.I. this vehicle only has 38,450 miles on it and was very well kept until Jim Glovers Service department put their hands on it.
