Loopit is marketed as a new idea in online marketing for free traffic. It claims that it can be set up in 20 minutes and then runs like a machine. Not only is the marketing idea not new, it involves setting up FaceBook accounts with huge "friends" lists which is incredibly time-consuming. Everyone knows you can get in front of FaceBook friends for free.
They charge $12.94 for this info with a 30-day money-back guarantee, but before reviewing the material they upsell 4 more products, which I was foolish enough to purchase, believing that if it was not worth the money I could get a refund, the last upsell being the right to sell the product. After completing the whole purchase and all upsells totalling about $200, I then get to see this great "new" idea is not new at all.
I had to "request" the rights to sell their program, even though I already bought the upsell, and I never received "permission," but after having reviewed the material I knew I didn't want to sell this program. So I asked for a refund according to their 30-day money-back policy, and they only refunded $12.94.
I sent several more polite e-mails inquiring about the remaining $178, and finally received a response and was told that they didn't offer refunds on the upsells "to protect their business." At this point I realized this was a SCAM. I shot back an e-mail saying that it is completely UNACCEPTABLE bait-and-switch business practice. NOWHERE did they make it clear that the upsells would not come under the refund policy.
Jason Fulton, the person who owns this "business" then became abusive, attempting to play head games and pigeonhole me as an online marketer wannabe and whiner, showing the obvious disdain he has for his own customers, with this e-mail:
"You're getting frustrated because you purchased a product, then instant refunded because you are scared to take the necessary steps to make it work.
It's easier to just refund and buy, refund and buy then actually face up to putting the work in.
What do you tell your family you do when you are online 'working' on your business?
Do you say "I purchase products, but then instant refund them, this is my model to set us up for life"
I'm sure they'd tell you this isn't a working model for success."
Firstly, I didn't "instant" refund. I looked over the material for a week, even though I realized pretty quickly that this was not the "new" thing they claimed it was. Secondly, I've been making my living online for over 25 years. I'm always looking for new income streams to set up, but this was not it. His response was juvenile and reflects a very poor attitude toward customers. The whole thing smacks of SCAM at worst, bad business practices at best. Personally, I feel SCAMMED. PayPal disputes on the individual transactions yielded one decision in my favor, and 3 in his favor, which seemed arbitrary to me. At this point I'll have to take it up with my credit card company, but if this report can spare just one other person this headache I'm glad to take the time to post this report. Personally, I hope everyone considering this "product" will choose not to buy it because of this report.
