On May 30, 2017, I ordered a set of couples rings for myself and my boyfriend. I most certainly ordered the correct sizes because we had our fingers sized at a reputable local jeweler.
When I received the rings, both were completely the wrong sizes. My ring was so large, it was falling off my finger. My boyfriend's ring was so tight that he was almost unable to get it off. When I contacted the seller, I asked that they please fix the problem and send the correct sizes and if that couldn't be done, that I wanted to return the rings. The seller first argued with me that they sent me the correct sizes (when that clearly wasn't the case). They told me that they do not carry any smaller female sizes. They then had the nerve to send me a youtube link of a video showing me how I could make my ring "fit better," which would require time, effort, and money on my part. They further had the audacity to say that they would send a new male ring for $25 (on top of the $90 I already paid them)! They refused to offer any type of return because of the engraving I ordered on the rings.
When I told them that this was not acceptable, I opened up a PayPal dispute. They further argued vehemently that they DEFINITELY sent the correct sizes. They continued to refuse any refund and tried to manipulate me to close the dispute, claiming that they would send a new male ring for free If I did so.
First of all, their revised "offer" will still not make me whole. I spent $90 on a set of rings which is useless if I still cannot wear mine. More importantly, their attitude towards me has been simply APPALLING. Never have I seen such blatant disregard for the customer. Instead of apologizing and offering to make it right, they continually argue with me over and over again that they were in the right when I CLEARLY did not get what I ordered/paid for! For this reason, I am demanding a full refund from these thieves.
