As I was searching the web today for a small dog for my family. I came across this site called Oodle Marketplace, which sells just about anything. I came upon dogs for sale and some for free. I clicked on one, Two mini Maltese pups, 12 weeks old. There names were Nina and Jerry....which claimed to be located in West Columbia, SC. I tapped the button that said " I'm Interested "....within minutes I received an email from Jessica Paul in of (all of a sudden) Casablanca, Morocco. Go figure. Anyway, "she" went on and on about how she couldn't care for them anymore. All she wanted to know was if I was very interested, reassure her that I will take absolute care of the pup, I chose and how soon did I want it. I told her give me about two weeks. The next email then contained a story about how the pups were bought for her daughter who coincidentally got into a car accident on the way back to school and died. .three weeks ago. She said that she needed to get rid of the pups because they reminded her too much of her daughter. I showed my sympathy towards her. She also asked that I give my name, address ,phone number, and nearest airport...I obliged (I regret that now). She explained how the fee processing worked but not for the price of the dog but the transportation delivery fee of $290. She again asked when I want the pup. I told her to give me two to three weeks to prepare for the pup. She said OK and that she was going to process the ownership papers on Monday, email or mail them to me to be signed. I said OK. And thanked her. Something told me to Google her. Nothing pulled up on her. I searched her phone number, found out it was a Google number. I should have known because she would not call me only text. I then looked up Oodle Marketplace and consumer reviews came up. One of which was exactly like mine, except they actually paid money for it. I am reporting so that whoever this scammer is can be stopped before ripping off plenty of others.
