Jeremy BAILLARGEON Inmate # 317538 Released and Paroled from State Prison on 02/22/2013 makes his living bouncing from town to town Ripping off Hardworking people that are desperate to get their Vehichles and Work Trucks up and running so they can feed their families. I hired him based on a beautifully written Craigslist AD and he showed up in a typical beat up Vehiche but seemed to have the right tools. He Charged me a $100 Diagnostic fee, which I was promised would come off the Job if I used him. Made sense to me.
The First Job I hired him for was to put in a Fuel Pump on a 1985 GMC Sierra located directly in the front of the Engine. Other Mechanics tell me it's a 35-45 minute Job, he charged me $200 @ $100/hr in which he only spent maybe 60 minutes there per the Camera System I have set up at my home. He then asked for an extra $100 (based on the extras he did which were "going with me for a test drive to make sure it worked, and connecting some loose hoses.
") and when he saw my discouraged face, he said $50 would do and settled on $250. I was never credited the $100 from the Diagnostics, so I was out $350 for a Fuel Pump and maybe 1.5 Hours of his Time. He assured me he would change the Fuel Filter as part of the Job and he didn't even spend the 20-30 minutes as promised, and the adjustments he made to a few hoses came off the next day. They weren't even put on with a Zip Tie let alone a hose clamp, they were just left hanging. Well I stalled and was again late to a customer's Job, almost costing me the Gig.
He assured me he would show up multiple times and "do the right thing" and stand behind his work. He left me without a working truck which cost me down-time and a loss in money I needed to pay my bills. I also had 3 other Vehichles for him to work on, and once he stuck it to me, no word from him. He was content when he saw I produced $100 for his Diagnostic fee, but when I just wanted him to be a man of honor and integrity, he was gone with the wind.
