Jellyfish Warehouse Reviews
A scam
Their website says will ship next day. It’s been 2 weeks now still no confirmation of shipment. I emailed them twice and still have not yet received a reply. This is a scam don’t waste your timez
In my opinion, Jellyfish Warehouse is at best a "joke" of a business and, at worse, a scam. Case in point, when ordering from this company you should multiply their expected time of completion or arrival of production by a factor of 10. So if they say two weeks, that means 5 months. When they say "almost done" and "one more week", that means two more months.
Did an order from Travis Brandwood of Jellyfish Warehouse on June 10, 2016. The estimated completion was "2 to 3 Weeks". The order arrived October 14, 2016, over five months later. But it gets worse:
The order did not include all that was paid for. An external filter, a ~$50 value, was promised and never delivered. And the packaging was poorly done, causing the product to be severely damaged through shipping. Though shipping insurance was paid for by buyer, the claim was rejected by FedEx due to the bad packaging of seller.
I attempted to get a value on the final product and it couldn't even be salvaged. The cost of product was $500+, and now it is worth less than zero, when factoring the work it would be required to salvage any non damaged pieces.
And what is the official company response of Travis Brandwood or Jellyfish Warehouse? Silence. No accountability, no refund or replacement has been offerred.
I should have known something was wrong a couple months after order, when an aquarium guy in my county warned about problems he had with this same company. So at least I'm not alone. Just wish I had met the guy before making my order.
In short, while specialized aquariums and Jellyfish feel like a niche market, there are plenty of sellers near you, so you should avoid this company like the plague. Reach out to your local legitimate aquarium stores instead.
Jellyfish Warehouse is just one person who is trying to sell his hobby like a business, but with absolutely no professionalism or business practice to support it. Save your money and avoid Jellyfish Warehouse.
