Stay away from Jeff Battistoni. Jeff is nothing more than a con man. We hired Jeff's previous company (which he initially told me he was the owner even though he is not) to complete an addition on our house. It took him almost two months to obtain the permits. Once work began everything was going smooth. Once the addition was framed and roofed, everything started going south. It was excuse after excuse from Jeff on why things weren't getting done and why materials weren't ordered. He would blame his subcontractors and supply chain issues and we found out those were both lies. About three months into the project (when it was only supposed to take three months) we were notified by Jeff that the money was all gone and he could not complete the job. Again, it was excuse after excuse where the money went, but he said he was working on obtaining a loan to finish the project. Two months of more excuses and still no loan and my home has been abandoned with between $50-60 thousand in work still remaining, which Jeff was already paid for. To make matters worse, I have received multiple visits from subcontractors that worked on my home stating their checks from Jeff had bounced. The amount now owed to those subcontractors that I know about add up to over $36,000. He takes no responsibility for any of this and after doing a detailed search of his name and phone number, it seems like we're not the only one's he's done this to. It's time to stop this liar, thief and fraud once and for all.
