Jim galley sold me a torqueflite transmission for an old chrysler i'm restoring. Sent my son over to pick it up with his flatbed and he paid jim $ 800.00 cash for it. Few days later when i got around to working on my car i noticed the serial numbers were ground off smooth and polished. I called him and asked him " is this transmission hot, how come there's no serial numbers".
He said dont worry about it, your not gonna sell it anyway, just use it. He won't give me my money back because he said he had to pay someone else his cut, so now i'm stuck with a stolen transmission. It's not something i can report to the police, since i paid him in cash with no receipt. Thank god for scamion.com, at least it will warn others so they don't get involved with jim galley.
