When J Brazil (or Jay Joseph Brazil) first came to our home, he seemed like any other salesman. We had scheduled a meeting for him to give us an estimate on solar panel instllation. From the moment he arrived, he was the consumate salesman, explaining the importance of energy efficiency, and selling it as a free upgrade. He told us that the government finances the solar panel installations so we shouldn't worry at all about the pricing. He was referring to the HERO program. That was the first red flag for me. I get weary anytime anyone tells me something is free (we later found out this is NOT how that program works at all). My eighteen year old daughter showed up at home and this is when things got really weird. He complimented her appearance and then made a joke about wanting to propose to her. The meeting ended and I told him we would get back to him. The next day, my daughter told me that he added her on Facebook. My husband was concerned and looked into this and we discovered that he has two facebook accounts. In one account he was listed as single, and in the other account he was listed as having a wife and kids. My husband messaged him asking him to unfriend our daughter immediately and that it was inappropriate. This is very concerning to anyone who has children. My recommendation is to stay away from this man.
