I am employed through JB Hunt Transportation as a semi local truck driver. Over the past 8 weeks (beginning of my rehire employment) I have still not received a Comdata Pay card so in order for me to receive pay, I need to request advances.
In doing so, there is a $10.00 advance fee. I have accumulated several hundred dollars of fees along the way. I have contacted payroll Administrator Ann Reed as she stated, payroll did nothing wrong. I have also contacted H. R. as to which my attention is ignored.
I have also tried to reach out to the CEO to no avail. About 4 weeks ago (early December) I decided to order my own Comdata Pay card. The card arrived overnight, the next day. All card information was updated on my banking Workday site and i was told by payroll everything was in working order.
I informed Ann Reed of the changes and my latest card was deleted from the Workday site. There was also a payroll check deposited to this latest card that I have yet to hear from Ann about payroll mistakes. Payroll sweeps dirty actions under the carpet and refuses to take responsibility.
My requests for reimbursements are ignored. I am demanding all fees be paid back, plus another $6000.00 for making me wait 8 weeks to correct payroll mistakes.
Jb hunt transportation is a fraud they steal money from the lease operators when they can also was told by safety dispatcher and office that my son could ride and go ahead and pick him up they would get me the paperwork to me I never had riders b4 so I did what I was told then I get to Dallas tx then they tell me I can't have him on the truck so I paid 1450.00 to fly me and my son home plus taxi rides from each airport then drive him home them fly back to the airport to get a cab back to the truck this is the kind of company they are sneaky low life crooks also I didn't get back my escrow money either they took was at least owed to me.
Had a decent job as an experimental driver, But it was through a staffing company. I was looking for a local drivng job with direct hire in, insuranc... I recieved a call from JB Hunt after submitting resume. I was offered the job of local driver home every day $18 hour to start, Great bennifits, advancement... Put my two week notification in with employer. Two days before Orietaion I recieved a call first confirming orientation. One hour later I recieve a call saying that my job had been filled but dfthey had an over the road job for me. fAt this time I mentioned that I had just been confimed for the potion and orientation. He said that he would check on it and get back to me. He called me back and told me " Well you just dont have enough experience and the job offer is no longer available". When I mentioned this to some other truckers I have been informed that JB HUNT is nitorious for doing this. I wish our state would make them responsable for unemployeement while you are looking for a job.
Ripped me off 87.5 hrs vacation pay due.i earned, after working there for 8 years, upon me leaving the company they decided they dont owe me anything.i was a great employee never late, never took any time off,and always made my delieveries on time and correct.is this leagle for them to do?please get back to me and let me know. thank you sincerley, ed holmes
Jb hunt hired my husband to work out of the Home Depot distribution center in Ohio He has drove truck for over 40 yrs. no accidents They have Bendix in their trucks cause they are so safety orientated. But the stupid thing goes off in contraction zones cause lanes are narrow. Goes off when a car cuts in front of the truck which happens all the time. So my husband had been in the office every week for the three weeks he has worked there because of this annoying Bendix. So today he was told he would have to ride with a trainer for several days but would not get paid. Really who in their right mind works for no pay. And how can he control construction lanes and bein cut off by cats DO Not WORK For Jb hunt. And there was several truck drivers in the break room and a dispatcher came in and pulled his shirt over his noise saying the truck drivers stink. Yes that's professional.
