I hired J&J marine to buy and install an outdrive on my boat. Mr. Carlyle sent two invoices, so I questioned him on the reason there was a $600 difference. He said he would make up for it and detail the boat and that it was his mistake. When Mr. Carlyle sent the second invoice it said Bravo one used 288 hours on it. He said that in order to get it, I needed to pay in full. I paid immediately. I didn't find out that he didn't put a Bravo one until I found out the prop I bought separately did not fit. He made it seem like he did me this big favor. He put a damaged salt water Bravo two on my boat. I asked Mr. Carlyle to come get the outdrive and I didn't receive a response. I asked him for an invoice for the actual outdrive he put on my boat. No response. I disputed the transaction with my credit card company. Mrs. Carlyle sent my credit card company false accusations and pictures of my children.
I never spoke with Mrs. Carlyle at any point. Mrs. Carlyle sent an altered invoice showing that the invoice said used Bravo outdrive with 288 hours. The word Bravo one was gone/deleted/or she had a lot of incorrect information because I never spoke to her. Mrs. Carlyle response to my credit card company was in poor taste and in my opinion very unprofessional. I have asked Mr. Carlyle multiple times to get the outdrive and refund my payment or on a civil level send me an invoice of what was actually put on my boat.
