Purchased Photoshop CS6 and installed with the key provided. Everything went well until my computer crashed. I purchased a new computer and tried to install Photoshop CS6 and received a message that my key had been revoked. Researching the internet, it seems this happens when illegal keys are generated and used.
I tried contacting the company, requesting assistance, but got no reply. The website is still up, so I tried contacting them through the site, but again no reply. So it would appear that the research was correct in that I was given a key that had been generated, NOT a legal key.
Hopefully others will not fall for this as I did. The site looked legitimate and the prices were just slightly less than what Adobe was charging. That minor savings turned out to be a huge loss of time and money for me.
I recently experienced the exact same issue with this vendor over a CS-6 supposedly authorized copy purchased through Amazon Prime. Apparently neither Adobe nor Amazon is properly vetting these re-seller vendors. It remains difficult or impossible now, and was more so in 2012 when this purchase was made, for a customer to determine the validity of such purchases. Where does one turn to be confident of a authorized software licensed copy? I do not recall whether Adobe even had their own online store at that time. The price I paid was comparable to list price. I am disinclined to adopt Adobe's business model of a forever $9/mo. usage rights over the internet.
