Tom was hired to make my website able to conduct commerce in late July 2015. Tom transferred my web hosting to his “server” without my permission. I later learned it was not transferred at all yet I was billed for it – I was also still billed by the other provider.
Tom cancelled and re-issued and charged me for a SSL certificate – something I also already had. Tom tried to sell me a new website which I declined and made numerous changes to my website without my permission. Tom was repeatedly unable to get PayPal to work on my website with an endless list of excuses over many months.
I eventually helped him find the answers from other sources. Tom still did not complete the task and make the PayPal work, repeatedly telling me excuses such as “Paypal doesn’t allow for tax and shipping”, “PayPal doesn’t work with WordPress” the Paypal account had to be cancelled numerous times after Tom initially chose to do what he wanted and tried to use the Paypal from a previous alignment nearly causing me fraud.
I was entering the marketplace with my based on my 30 years of work I was nominated and quickly made a finalist for this work and was up against multi million dollar companies Tom never completed my site and in talking with two judges after the ceremony (I lost) I was made aware that the reason for my loss was that my website was not operational. The amount of damages to my company in terms of revenue are truly innumerable as well as untold damage to my professional reputation as a business person.
This was solidified by the fact that Tom held the site “hostage” by pulling hosting and all related components of my ecommerce etc to his control. Always telling me that his job was to help me be in control of my own work, hustling me on side deals, seeking free consults for his mental health etc. Tom also has possession of my thumb drive that contains my IP and other sensitive information. Tom has this drive because he was supposed to recover a lost documentTom has refused to return this property to me for over 30 days at this point in time. And failed to recover the document as well.
This is only the highlights of months of lies, excuses and manipulation. This man likes to pretend he is a low key skeptic and all around good christian guy. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing.
