My experience is the same as MANY others. The service is fine for a while and you pay only $30 or so per month. However, if their computer program determines that your call patterns are more similar to that of a business instead of a residential customer, they'll switch you over to a ridiculous rate. No call, no email, nothing to let you know you have been reclassified. Your first clue is when you get a $250 bill for a single month.
Calling their snotty customer service is of no use. Yes, they could verify that the 3 or 4 numbers you call constantly are indeed residential numbers of family members, but that's too much work. Instead, they'd rather let their computer program do all the decision making with no human judgment involved, and if Hal determines you are a business, that's what you are and nothing will change it. You're stuck with an enormous bill and a very bad taste in your mouth after dealng with these shysters.
