I purchased a mirror cam in November 2017 as a Christmas gift through HSN. Unfortunately, it stopped working in mid January 2018. Because it was a Christmas gift and not opened until the end of December my husband was only able to get less than a month worth of use from this faulty product. Initially, I contacted HSN who directed me to the manufacturer.
Let me tell you, the customer service was abysmal and disrespectful. In a gist, the woman with the heavy Indian accent told me that she couldn’t do anything, that too much time had elapsed even though the product had been used less than a month and that it was not Inventel’s problem. She said I needed to take it up with HSN. I didn’t even want a refund... simply only to have whatever faulty problem fixed. The woman did not even give me a chance to express that. She said "you can tell HSN I said that. We’ve already told them we will not be dealing with these problems” of which I responded, "are you not even concerned about your customers’ experience or your company’s reputation?” Of which she responded, "it’s not my problem” and then hung up on me.
I was able to call HSN back told them about my experience where they assisted me in lodging a complaint about the company while also giving me a credit for the horrendous experience I had just received. Hopefully enough people complain so that their product will no longer be sold there. Had I known this company, I would have not purchased this. I guess that’s why they try to sell through other distributors. Terrible product and terrible company lacking any sort of ethics. Taking consumers money and placing blame and responsibility on other companies.
Inventors Beware....I submitted a ready to go idea, sample product & all to Invented and they were/are very interested. They got back to me & said that they found a Patent & would not be able to move forward. I tracked down the Patent Holder & we agreed to do the deal together. Inventel & the Patent Holder, who by the way is a Pastor & Man of God, went ahead & did the licensing agreement without me. First of all Inventel would not even be considering my idea if it wasn't for me & the Patent Holder would never have had the connection with them if it wasn't for me. They offered me a Finders Fee & I was told that they would try to get that Fee increased. Well, now they are not getting back to me. I had asked if I could get my prototype & sample back before I even sent it to them & they said Yes. I have sent them several emails & to date, I have not received a response. I can't believe how unscrupulous, deceitful & unprofessional this company is.
I order two HD Mirror Webcams on Aug 11th and they were never delivered, I saw that the paypal paid them so I called Paypal to find out what gives. But, they have no info about the company. I went back to my orginal web order but the phone number they list gets answered and they hand up. Or, they tell you they are having computer problems and you should call back in 3 hours or longer.
This is a Scam. I am filing a complaint with Paypal.
On February 9th, 2017, a model/actress represented by the Jada Management Group was contacted by Kevin Comras, representing Inventel, llc, inquiring if the model was available for a commercial shoot in Rockaway, NJ on that upcoming Friday for 3 hours.
The rate offered was $300 plus travel expenses. The model was unavailable for Friday but was able to make the shoot on Monday, the 13th of February. The shoot was done at the Rockaway office and a location in Hamburg, NJ (an additional 26.7 miles from the original location) After the shoot, Mr. Comras asked the model to submit an invoice, which was done
The total was $342.00 and the invoice was submitted on February 16th and again on March 16th. There has been no response from Inventel or Mr. Comras. No payment has been made, even though the commercial is on their website.
