I received a Intex Pure Spa Hot tub I bought from one of their dealers which sold it on ebay. The product arrived around January 11, 2018. I discovered that the motor would not turn on. I texed the dealer not Intex and they sent me a pre-paid shipping label to send it back. However the next day they they asked me to send them photos of the broken part. They told me to keep the motor but to cut a hole in the tub and throw it away. They issued me a refund.
However I called the manufactur Intex and asked about their warrantee on the motor. They said they would honor the guarantee for 90 days of received the defective motor. I talked to Christian and he sent me a form by email to fill out on January 24, 2018. He said after it was approved they would send me a new motor. He said for me to keep the bad motor. I called him on February 1 and he said I needed to send the shipping convermation which I promply did.

I'm requesting they honor their warrantee of the motor. Once they do that I will re buy the vinal hot tub since the dealer requested I destroy it.
Intex states on their website that dealings with their dealers has nothing to do with their company. That is why I believe that Intex should honor their manufactures warranty.
