I found this site as I began to research breast augmentation. I, like many women, stressed over doctors, procedures, and recovery. Whenever you search BA Justbreastimplants.com will come up first in a search. The site offers a forum which has many members. I immediately began to jump into reading as much information as possible. I had somewhat made a decision as to the doctor I would have perform the surgery and after reading much informative information decided to do a search for him on the site to see what others had said regarding the experience.
However, you must register as a member to do this so I decided to register although I do not participate in forums and am a very private person. The information on the site was so vast and informative I thought it a wise choice to register. Upon completion of registration there were several pop ups from administration warning about posting photos and being careful of basically "creepy men" stalking the site.
I started to search the site but also realized that you had to be upgraded to member status to have complete access...I in particular was interested in seeing post op photos to get a good idea of what to expect as far as bruising and scars. Another member had stated that in order to get member status you had to make a certain number of posts. I do not post on forums ....anoother member posted if you do not want to post to notify admin with a photo verifiying your identity. I did so.
The next day I attepted to sign in and my screen turned to a message that infomed me I had been permanently banned from the site without explanation. I thought it a mistake as I had not made one single post or interacted with anyone on the site in the two days I had been registered. I contacted through email the admin and asked for a reason. I emailed several times and included specific imformation about myself and surgery and even gave my contact number.
No one responded at all. I am a professional that works in a health service in which I manage personnel and handle the runnings of a large corporation. I have never been treated in this way. I felt offended, as though I had done something shameful and I was hurt. I am not in the process of creating a database of the doctors that participate and advertise with ths site and wil be contacting them by email to detail my experience and posibly that of others. I deal with adversting for my doctors and would be very upset to know that people had been treated in such a way.
And why you ask...because they will not answer me I have to make an assumption now...the only one I can come up with is that my name is "Robbie" athough I am most definely a female, married. and five children. I have no other explanation.
Just wanted people to know that this is not a very professional site...as it might seem. I tend to believe others after this experience that it is someone being paid and a form of advertising only. Very unfair to those that truly want to participate and get support as they go through this journey. Shame on the admin of justbreastimplants.com and the doctors that are participating.
