I paid for a wine tasting class that was scheduled to begin in Octboer of 2013. The course cost $1,700 and spanned multiple weeks. Two weeks prior to the start, I received an email indicating that the course was cancelled due to an issue at the facility in Chicago (Kendall College). I requested a refund in full and received an email stating that this was acknowleged, and that they would begin the refund process. I called the location multiple times and sent multiple follow up emails asking for updates but nobody ever answers the phone.
This company also advertises that they are approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education, but they do not follow any of the policies that they argee to abide by. The refund policy document which they submitted to the IBHE, and is required by Illinois state law, clearly states that I am entitled to a full refund, and that they are required to give me a refund for earned tuition and all monies paid.
If failing to give me a refund wasn't enough, in June of of 2014, I received multile certificates from the company stating that I passed the course which was cancelled also the course that nodoby attended.
