I am dying and am a hospice patient. I had a medical emergency. I was out of town a week. The Waco Hospice Health Care Office discharged me on the 11 day. Per Medicare and Head Nurse Carla, you are discharged after the 12th day. They hold your medication against you, until you are seen. Knowing that your health is deteriating steadily. They come to your home and enter without knocking. You are seen by different people constantly. The professional ethics isn't worth the hassle. I will be looking for a more professional hospice care provider.
