I was first approached by Interexconsulting about a supply chain consulting job. On the onset everything appeared legitimate. There website was professional and mentioned working with companies I was familiar with. They described a one month assessment period to evaluate potential candidates with a nominal payment of completing the program successfully.
the first portion of the assessment consisted of case studies with short quizzes. The second was practical in nature and required the purchase of Apple products. Interex provided valid Chase accounts for reimbursement of the purchases and again everything seemed to moving along as planned. That was until this morning when I received notification from both my AMEX and VISA cards that the payments were unsuccessful. I have reached out to my contact in NYC and have not received a response. I feel like an idiot, right now I am more than$20,000 out of pocket. Do not, I repeat do not respond to this company. Right now, I'm trying to figure out if I have any legal recourse.
I too was approached by Interex consulting, after phone interview they assigned me a personal tutor. Nathen Durham.
Trainging period was going to be five weeks and after successful completion they were going to put me on as a full time employee... first two weeks they had me review and submitt my reports and then the third week, practical task; where they want me to purchase AppleBook (4) and they sent me an account number and tracking number with no name of the bank. Therefore, I went to five major Banks in Los Angeles area; account does not exist so I've called my bank and they told me it was Chase routing number so I went to three different Chase bank and inquired about the validity of the account and all of them told me the account does not exist... Here is what really got to me Nathen Durham sending me a false account to pay off some of my credit balance and use the credit to purchase and send him the Applebook then by that time my credit card company would find out that Chase account is invalid and the I would be responsible for the full balance.
I was approached by the company named InterEx Consulting via phone and email about 85K /year job offer. I tried to visit them in their NEW YORK location. Thats when i found out that they don't exist. I asked a friend of mine to visit their office in HAMBURG - same story, no one there. They insisted on downloading an application form from their site which contained a harmful virus that almost destroyed my computer. I stopped communicating with them when i found out through Whois that their website was registered in Russia just two weeks ago. has anyone else been caught by this scam?
Got the same response via email regarding a position as a logistics consultant. I posted resume on indeed and viola got this the next day. Also got a call from them. Thanks for information not going Now load attachment
