I ordered a real estate course online for $89 in October 2016. The website stated there was a 'VIP" option "for only $1.00 more" with free consulting services so I selected that option. The course is horrible, bad audio, old information and nothing that could not be found free online. A couple of months later I notice an unknown $49 charge appearing for 5 months. Apparently hidden deep in fine print this company charges a monthly subscription fee that is NOT DISCLOSED on the order page. They stole $250, but my credit card company refunded 2 months of the charges (that's as far back as they could go). They are a HORRIBLE company and now threaten to SUE ME! There are MANY online complaints about this company - I wish I had read them first! I also believe they ILLEGALLY operate as a NON-PROFIT when in fact it is a FOR PROFIT business! They DO NOT provide FULL DISCLOSURE UP FRONT for their so-called "course" and "subscription".
They also represent they give a "Satisfaction Double Money Back Guarantee" - that is completely FALSE! They already received $250 of my money - when I only authorized a $100 charge. Now they are threatening to SUE ME for MORE??? I have never seen a "Non-profit" ever treat someone like this!
First this company has no phone number on their website. That is a red flag, I should have known better, but they claim they are a Christian company . . so I took a leap of faith even though many online reviews are terrible. My credit card company attempted to contact them for a refund request. They will not answer their phone. Here is their number: 207-272-0648.
I purchased this Real Estate program about a month ago. What really drew me to them is that they offered a FREE mentor. I received the program, looked it over in detail, got excited, and then I proceeded to touch base with my mentor per their instructions. This is when they stopped responding to my many emails to get in touch with my mentor. Keep in mind, when I had issues downloading my ebook, they were Johnny on the spot getting right back to me. Well I finally sent another email letting them know that I am requesting a refund, and that I will be contacting my credit card company because they did not uphold their end of the bargain. They never responded to my prior emails to reach out to my FREE mentor. Guess what happened: they got back to me saying they never got my emails where I attempted to get in touch with my mentor. Then later that day when I sent them another email telling them I would be contacting the attorney general in their state, they suddenly found my emails. PRETTY SHADY. Now they will not honor my refund. And they advertise they are Christians.
They have a lot of bad reviews on this site. the ERSP, about a year ago, even recommended that they change their claims. I want none of their stuff, it is pretty much cookie cutter anyways (you can find it all online for free), and I just want a refund because they did not uphold their end of the agreement to provide a FREE mentor. Wow, what a bunch of ripoff artists.
