Illegal operation. Unlicensed Agents. Felons run the company. The worst of the worst.
An older female who sells Medicare advantage is a convicted Felon and has had her Insurance License revoked in Multiple States The owner of Italian descent is also a convicted felon SHould be called INSURANCE LIES ONE: As an employee I was verbally abused and told to have the Medicare agent take my Licensing exam which is illegal. This woman who is a convicted felon has a business in which she gets paid for taking the insurance exams for agents which is also illegal. When I left the company they cheated me out of earned commisions and other revenues.
Insurance Line One told me they were selling me one thing, and then sold me a far inferior product.
Earlier this month I was in the market for new health insurance, and submitted my name into a database.
On October 31, 2018 I was contacted by a representative of Insurance Line One. I was connected with a sales agent, Alexus Eckford, who proceeded to sell me a health insurance plan. We were on the phone for about 45 minutes as she explained the policy and answered all of my questions. It felt like a sales call, but the insurance information is already so overwhelming to me that I just went with it. In the end, I had two specific requirements before purchasing a new insurance plan. One, I needed to make sure the plan would cover my pre-existing prescription. Alexus confirmed that it was indeed covered. Two, I wanted a plan that would reimburse me a percentage of my cost back to me if I went to a doctor outside of the plan. Alexus confirmed that as well. So, despite what felt like a high pressure sales call, I went ahead knowing that my two biggest needs would be met.
Fast forward to the next day, when my new health plan was activated. I called the company that serviced the policy sold to me by Insurance Line One. Within the first two mintues of conversation I found out that both of the things I was promised were not true. My medication was not covered whatsoever, and would cost hundreds of dollars per month, and I would receive no reimbursement for seeing any doctor outside of the plan. Thankfully I made that call, because I had enough time to cancel the new policy.
I called Insurance Line One back and left messages for Alexus Eckford several times and none of my calls were returned.
