I have had nothing but problems with this company from the start. I started with AZ interlock a 3rd party company contracted through instant interlock. After giving them the information about my vehicle year make and model I was told it would be a 1 hour install. The install took over 3 hours. I went on vacation 1 week later and did not drive my car. I was told I should leave my device plugged into the car at all times because it would be less hassle. When I returned home and went to start my vehicle it would not turn on. I called AZ interlocks (3rd party partner) and talked to Hector he told me I would have to have my vehicle towed to them at my expense because I had obviously broken the cord to the device. This supposed resolution on their end did not work for me. I know I hadn't removed the device or even used it more then a handful of times. After some back and forth Hector did come to my house to inspect the problem. He concluded I would need to push up on the black cord every time I need to register my breath. This worked for all of a day before I was again stranded at my house with children that had places to be. I again called Hector with AZ interlocks and was able to get my vehicle started long enough to get it into his shop. There they concluded the cord was bad and were attempting to charge me for the faulty cord. After more back an forth they finally agreed not charge me for their faulty cord and replace it. This took 3 days. Over the next 3 months there was some confusion over how I was to make my calibration appointments. I was not told by AZ interlocks that this was a 2 step process I was making my appointments through AZ Interlock. I was unaware they need to first be made through instant interlocks site and they only gave you 24 hours advance time frame to make the appointments and if they did not send their authorization to the AZ interlocks before my set appointment with hector I could not go in. I am a busy working mother. I have minim 6 children through out the day in my home. I have to be able to make arrangements to have them taken care while I go down there. I expressed my need for advance appointments via email because this is basically the only way you can communicate with instant interlock and always met with the same response " you cant make your appointment in advance".

In October I contacted AZ interlocks directly because I felt that my device was not functioning properly. At this point I was unaware everything needed to be authorized by instant interlock. I took my device to AZ interlocks where they tested it and said it seemed fine after they tested it. They asked me to bring in my vehicle with the devise the next day to make sure. I did this and they said everything was fine. November I had an unexpected death in the family and was asked to host his celebration of life at my home for 300 people. I had my car parked in my side yard. I went to move the vehicle so that I could allow the vendors to start step up and the device would not even turn on. I contacted AZ interlocks and I was met with the response that they could not help me unless I got instant interlock to authorize my service. I was also told it was my battery in my brand new car. When I contacted instant interlock I was told I would need to have my vehicle towed at my expense. After numerous calls back and forth and not being able to speak to anyone in management unless I emailed them. I had absolutely no time for this as I was trying to figure out how to get people into my back yard to set up with my vehicle blocking the gates. I finally had the tow truck come out that afternoon at my expense, They checked my battery and no surprise it was fine. I had my vehicle taken to AZ interlocks. They turned on the car and proceed to tell me nothing was wrong with the device and they had never had a device do that before. They never took it into their service area, just put the device on there scanner and called it good. Thursday morning I am now parked in my drive way I go to get into my vehicle to take my son to school same thing. Completely doesn't not turn on. I again call AZ interlocks and am met with the same thing that that wont do anything without authorization from instant interlock. Again I am told this is my problem and I need to pay for a tow at my expense. Again I have vendors that can not access my yard because my car is blocking their entrance. Costumer service would not help me unless I paid them. I feel their product is faulty and there is no reason I should have these problems or have to pay for them. They would not let me speak to any management. I was very upset and beyond frustrated at this point and they hung up on.

I again called a tow truck to move my brand new car that would not start and again had them test my battery that was still fine. That day I received a letter from the DMV stating that my license had been suspended for none complacence with my interlock device. I am on top of this I have never missed an appoint and have rearranged my days and others to make sure this is take care of properly. At this point I was infuriated. I could not get any help from instant interlock nor did I have the time to be dealing with this. I felt I would file a complaint with BBB and ware others of this company. Friday afternoon someone by the name of "Jim" supposedly a manager called me back. He informed me he had spoke to AZ interlocks and they had told him they had had no interaction with me over the last 3 days. I was furious. I have phone records that prove otherwise. After he actually listened to my problems he offered to have my services moved to another 3rd party company he felt comfortable with. He asked me to have a tow truck come for a 3rd time and have the car towed to "street fighter". He told me he would reimburse me for this tow and call ahead and have everything taken care after 3 days! Finally! Street fighters (second 3rd party company) took out old device and reinstalled a completely new device twice. I picked up my vehicle Saturday morning. I told them I would be using them for my calibrations from here on out. "Jim" also told me he would send my record to DMV so they would unsuspened my license. Upon calling DMV to fall up on this I learned that in the 6 months I had this device and they had only reported to DVM once in July.

I made 24 hour in advance appointment with instant interlock 1 day before I was set to go into lockout for calibration because that was the only day I had child care coverage available. I went to the shop and they of course and not received authorization. I could not get in touch with instant interlock via phone. ( this is an ongoing issue) The next day I started my vehicle about an hour before the device times out. I loaded up 4 children up under the age of 4 and drove over to street fighters where they still hadn't been able to get authorization. Again I called and could not get through to anyone, I drove around for 4 hours with 4 kids so my device would not lock me out and I would need yet another tow at my expense. Street fighters called to tell me that had finally received authorization from instant interlock to calibrate my device. During my appointment I learned they had still not received my information from instant interlock.

In December I received corespondents from BBB regarding my compliant, I had not responded to them because at this point I had decided not to take further action. Later in the month of December I was driving home from a store and less then 5 minutes after starting my device the vehicle just complete shut down. I attempted to restart the device several times before 20 minutes later the device would let me start my car again. I was in the middle of a busy street when this happened. I called Street fighters the next day and explained to them what happened and was told the same thing I am always told. "they have never had that happen before and it must be my brand new vehicle". Again very frustrating I took my car into the dealership AGAIN and was wold everything on their end was fine. Later that week I received an email from BBB stating they were closing my complaint because instant interlock told them I was not a customer and unless I could prove otherwise there was nothing let for them to do. I sent them the information stating that indeed I was a customer.

On December 31 I received a vm from a someone in their supposed legal department threatening to sue me for defamation of character and many other thing for posting to BBB. I ignored the message because when I called instant interlock to speak to this supposed legal department I was told they had none.. In January I was bombarded with more threatening harassing emails and phone calls.

. I went to do my January calibration appointment and of course street fighters didn't have the authorization, I could not get any one on the phone per usual. I sent and email asking for yet another calibration authorization. Finally after 3 hours I got someone to answer there phones and send my calibration over to street fighters . I learned they had not yet changed my service center to street fighters. This is why I am sure street fighters still had none of my information. Later that day I got a nasty email from an exce. I again ignored. Over then next 2 weeks I received several phone calls,vm, and emails from this exec. I responded by calling him after he told me he was notifying DMV that my device had been removed. I never had it removed nor was I planning on having it removed. When I spoke to him on the phone he continued to threaten me, lie to me and try to scare me out of my contract with instant interlock if I did not remove the BBB from social media. After getting no where with him and I end the call stating I would let my attorney contact him further. He called back and offered me $100 basically to go away and he would waive the removal fee. As long as I agreed not to post any bad reviews on them. He wanted the device out of my car by end of week. This was not something i could accomplish in his time line nor was I comfortable not being able to share my experience with others. We agreed I would have my device removed at the time of my next calibration to insure I had sufficient time to find a new company and take two days out of my busy schedule to do this. This was on Thursday the 14th of January. Friday I get into my vehicle to take my son to school and it is in total lockout mode for no reason or warning.AGAIN. I could not get in touch with anyone from the instant interlock to authorize anything or receive any help. I am stranded. After multiple calls from instant interlock they offer me $200 to go away quietly and no removal fee and again want it out by 1/22/16. I had no way of getting my son to school and could not get it fixed in time to pick him up from school. I took my device into street fighter s where they determined the device had jumped time and again tried to blame it on me. Saturday morning I go to take my son to his soccer game and same thing I am locked out and can get no help. Street fighters later that day gave me a new device after I speaking to them without having authorization from instant interlock because they said it was an ongoing problem. This device constantly won't register my breath and says its inhuman 1 out of every 3 tries to start my vehicle. I made arrangement with a new company to have install a new device and street fighters to remove the old one this week, I again received more threatening emails from instant interlock and have decided I would now like to have this handle through legal avenue's.I never once asked to be compensated and on their response to BBB they said I am trying to extort money from their company. These are just a few of the numerous problems I have and continue to have with this company. As of this morning they are charging me to have this device removed. I have all of my corresponds via email and vms saved. They also record all of their phone calls which I think would be helpful. I have used this company for 5 months and now get t removed

Instant Interlock helped me finish in 6 months. They worked aggressively to figure out any issue and alway sent me to their next level technicians to figure out any issue if Arizona Interlocks could not resolve issue

Instant interlock provides faulty devices that do not work according to how they say they do. Faulty devices have to be reseted along with a fee. Everything is a charge. They do not accomdate you in any way. They are quick to take your money but do not feel like reimbursements are a way of settling things. They say one thing and do another. I'm on my 2nd device and this one still does not work properly
