After failing to place machines that we purchased in locations as promised within committed time-frames, Mr. O'Keefe promised by contract to return our money. To Date he has breached that contract to return the money we invested.
Ryan sells you a Dream of owning healthy vending machines. He provides horrible locations and service. you might as well take you money and burn it. I don’t think anyone he has sold this opportunity to has been successful. Another scam. By a con artist.
He is starting a business called Vending accelerator. Check out his facebook. Particularly January 8th post. Very interesting. Hope he has kept track of everyone he owes money to.
He is now starting a business called Vending Accelerator. look for it on facebook. Consulting and training for healthy vending. Unbelievable. Check out his facebook post on January 8th.
Ryan O'Keefe has started a new scam called Own Your Vending ([email protected]). DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY, HE WILL SPEND IT ON COCAINE AND HOOKERS!
The way he ran the business is the definition of a Ponzi scheme. He took “partners” money under the partners assumption they would receive their machines in locations they were promised.
When in reality, he used money to pay for personal expenses. He paid himself over 20k per month, he also used incoming money to pay employees. He had to sell a min of 10-15 machines per month just to stay afloat. Once he was unable to sell more partners or place machines, the lawsuits started to come in.
Best thing to do is report him to FBI and SEC. he ran a Ponzi scheme. Plain and simple. You cannot use other investors money to pay other investors back or to pay for others machines. Once the money stops coming in then the Ponzi crumbled.
Contact your local FBI office, file criminal charges. He is currently in LA on your dime. He will most likely try to start another similar business under another name
This will be the only response that I post to this largely slanderous, false page full of information and a number of large inaccuracies. I, by no means, ran a Ponzi scheme nor was I on a $20k monthly salary. My salary was $80,000 annually. As a managing partner, I had the ability to be the only employee to defer my paycheck. I deferred my own paycheck on a regular basis in order to pay employees, business expenses and operating costs. I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment and I drove a 12-year-old car. I have had continuous conversations with partners as I am not hiding, I am on my own dime, and have committed to full payback for any partners who did not receive their equipment. Anyone is welcome to contact me via email in order to get the facts and keep abreast to progress as I work a day job, moonlight building out new non-operator based platforms in order to satisfy unpaid business expenses and all deposits. I can be reached via [email protected]
We purchased 14 machines from Ryan and he did not place ONE single machine!! He may have placed some machines but he completely stole our money and is now claiming he will be filing BK. Stay away from him!
Instahealthy & CEO Ryan O'Keefe, another Law Suit potential
Apparently, Ryan O'Keefe, CEO of Instahealty, a vending machine company in San Diego, is the target for a law suit, potentially class action. It is rumored to be a breach of contract - another case of marking up machines, agreeing to place them in strategic income-producing locations on behalf of investors within a certain period of time, then not performing. In some cases, he has agreed to refund the investors' money, then defaulted. There appears to be at least agreement and contractual violations and misrepresentations, perhaps fraud.
Starting a Business is never easy. It doesn't matter what kind of business it is. I started with InstaHealthy in 2016. Looking to work with 3 Micro-Markets and we switched to 3 Vending machines when we found that there was no market for micro-makets in my area. There have been ups and downs. My experience has been that Ryan has always come through with support and held up his side of the bargain. I have 3 machines placed in Charter Schools and I'm working to expand my business. The Vending Industry isn't for everyone. Being a business owner and an Entrepreneur isn't for everyone. InstaHealthy has a great concept and business model. Good locations take time to find. There may be people who have issues with Ryan and the company. I'm not one of them.
I have an instahealthy business and a very successful one. Things were not perfect but ryans team definitely delivered and very well, specifically great locations (we got all schools) and machine quality. To whom recently invested, I believe you are in good hands especially with all of the great management and marketing moves they have made lately. I am very delighted and we decided to recently grow. Business isn't perfect and instahealthy never claimed to be but they always follow through on their word.
Do you have contact information. He has been known to post stuff like this personally to make himself and his company look good. we heard he was out of business.
