We switched to inmotionhosting.com after having connectivity issues with our previous host. The transfer went well and we were hoping for a good experience - but it wasn't to happen. Soon after the launch, our outbound emails began bouncing. Even when we were just replying to current clients! We opened a total of (3) support tickets, (2) of which had to be escalated and took 2 days for resolution. Even after all that, they could not guarantee our email would work. I checked with our IT guy and he looked at the email headers...apparently, inmotionhosting has hosted some spammer sites and has been blacklisted by AT&T and others.
In writing this, I am hoping warn other people and business - if you depend on your email, don't depend on inmotionhosting.com.
InMotion Hosting has got to be one of the worst if not THE worst website hosting companies around. Their servers get hacked all the time and then they blame you and say that it's your website that's unrprotected even if you have all the latest updates. Then they try to charge you hundreds of dollars to supposedly fix it until the next time comes when you've been hacked again. Do not trust this company ever. They are liars and idiots who will do nothing to help you. Every single one of my sites at one time or another got hacked on their servers. And it took me about half a year to get back into Google's good graces and have my site come up with the horrible red hacked site notification.
This company was hacked big time about 5 years ago and some people will try to tell you that's it's agreat company but no way. My site was hacked last month for the last time because I finally got the hell out of there and found a better company. One tech guy actyually told me to go f*** myself when I was complaining.
