I had an accident on oct. 23 and that totaled my car. since it was a 2006 bmw 325I the compensation was only $5000.00 which I have not received as of yet. It is now 01/06/2018. They were overnighting some paperwork that I need to sign. My wife received a call yesterday that they are having trouble with the mail because many of their clients have not been receiving what they send. I expected an overnight letter that never came and once again they promised to send it again and yet it never came. I was told that if it didn't come that I was to travel to Hollywood Florida to sign the papers. On another accident which was on October 31st. The police ran my insurance and gave the okay that I was covered. When I went to put the claim in however, Infinity told me I was cancelled on the 27th of October for non-payment. I received no cancellation notice. I received no phone call. I received nothing from Infinity. They tell people that they lost their phone numbers or email addressed. I've had numerous phone calls from the company, so obviously they did have my contact information. The last accident cost me $15,000 of my money and will be suing Infinity for that amount. They then proceeded to send me a bill pro-rated to the 27th of October to make it look like they really cancelled me, which they never did. I also noticed that my policy was changed without my knowledge. If anyone ever uses this company, they are crazy. You will never get return calls. The worst insurance company I ever used. It being an A rated company had more negative feedback that a D company. Stay away!
As many others across the U.S. have reproted, INFINITY Insurance Company based in Alabama is the worst insurance company I know of. Quite simply, this is a huge SCAM-operation which preys on their poor (mostly Black and Latino) clients by collecting premiums and the finding loopholes in the policies to refuse to honor claims. State Insurance regulators are totally useless in prosecuting this rip-off shop as Infinity has foound ways to scam (and corrupt) the regulatory system.
Why am I reporting all this? A few months ago, a (Latino) client of Infinity rear-ended me on a highway in Lehigh Valley PA. She presented her liability-insurance-coverage papers which seemed legitimate. But when, I called Infinity to file the claim, my nightmare began. After stalling me they sent an "adjuster" who appeared to be a College-intern. He gave me an estimate and promised me a check in a few days.
Instead of the settlement-check, I got a letter from Infinity telling me that the damage on my car - which their client admitted to have caused - was "not covered in their liability-policy". Infinity suggested instead I sue their client peronally !
My car was totaled by their policy holder. German rental car for 1 week. Takes them 2 weeks to offer settlement. The offered 15k for car Argued with out rental for week before they settle they offer $360 for compensation for week with no car since I had to turn in rental early. 3 months later get billed by rental car company because infinity never paid their rental bill. Call infinity they yell scream at me say the 360 was the rental I say no it was compensation for having to turn in the rental early. They say you signed paper saying no more claims when you accepted payoff. I said I had not received a bill for rental then and thought all was clear. They refused to pay the rental they authorized.

CEO Infinity and David Kelba Et Al
Greetings Mr. Abraham Rivero CA Dept of Insurance ,
I am emailing you the response I received from Infinity Insurance. There are many inconsistencies
with the response from David Kelba of Infinity Insurance.
My Auto Body Repair Rights to Choose my Repair company and be compensated according to their estimate
has been violated.
A total of $1977.33 was paid from Infinity so far for the preliminary estimate.
My estimate from N.A.S. is $2492.34. A difference of $ $515.01 is due to be paid to me.
The secondary estimate of $392.08 was paid as supplemental estimate.
A teardown estimate fee was not included in what has been paid already by Infinity . Therefore $100 is owed.
