Infant auto parts located in las vegas scammed us out of $475 for a transmission that I never received . They keep denying that they used my card to order a door through Indian Creek management. But when I called Indian creek management they said that Mike from infant auto parts placed an order for the door with my credit card number.
That was the name of the man I talked to at infant auto parts Mike. Now we are just out the money because I contacted direct Express and they investigated it and said that master card said that it was a valid charge.
I called infant auto parts again and they denied it again and just hung up on me. So I tried calling Indian creek management again and no answer. I don't know what else to do still need transmission but now no money to get it. I need help some how to stop this from happening to someone else.
On March 1st, 2019 I ordered a used transmission for my 89 Dodge Cummins W250 truck from Infant Auto Parts, 304 S. Jones #3786, Las Vegas, NV 89107. [email protected] , [email protected], [email protected], 888-463-6464, 302-608-0971.
My original contact with Infant Auto Parts was through an internet search for a used transmission. I got a reply back from Lisa, [email protected]. She informed me that they had a transmission available to fit my truck. She asked that I supply a VIN so that they could verify fit. I complied. After assuring me that it would fit, she informed me that it had 68k miles a 2yr warranty and that the $850 sale price included shipping.
I informed Lisa that I would need to have the transmission shipped to my mechanic and that I would send her that information and that my son, Jason, would be paying for it with his credit card. She said, "perfect".
I gave my son all the information about the puchase and Lisa's contact information. He contated her and supplied his credit card information. After that exchange I contacted Lisa back to get a tracking number. She explained to me that the transmission was being shipped from Texas and that it would be 5-7 working days before I recieved it.
She assured me there would be a tracking number as soon as the yard in Texas shipped the transmission. She said, "Since it is already late in the afternoon on Friday, I shouldn't see a tracking number until Tues or Wed". I asked why it should take so long, she said that the tranmission has to be inspected before it is shipped to qualify for the 2yr warranty. That sounded right.
Come Thursday I still had not recieved a tracking number. I called Lisa back, she said that the transmission they had in Texas had a problem and could not be warranted, they had found another one that only had 30k on it and that they would be willing to give me a 3yrs warranty for my trouble. I expressed by appreciation for the additional warranty but that time was really of the essence, since I was stranded in Las Vegas.
I waited a few days and still no tracking number. I called back and was informed that there had been a major snow storm in Massachusettes, where the transmission was coming from but she expected it to be shipped the next day'.. The next day, no tracking number.
I called back and got 'Charles'. Charles asked me to wait a minute while he checked, he came back and asked, "is this in reference to an engine?" "No"I said, it is in reference to a transmission for an 89 Dodge truck!" He said, "let me check a little further and get back to you". He never did call me back.
The next day I called him back, he apolagized for not getting back to me and said he would check right away and call me back. I pressed him for how long this would take and he said, "give me an hour". I checked the time, it was 11:30AM, 12:30 no call, 1:30 no call, I called him back, I recognized his voice and asked "Charles is that you?" he said, "Yes" and I told him who I was, he said, " Yes, one minute and I will be right with you" he put me on hold and he never did come back on the line. That was the last time I ever got through on the phone to a person. I would get, "all agents are busy helping other customers". I did get through on the 302 number and left a voice mail but never recieved any response.
I contacted my son to see if he had recieved any additional information. He had received a charge on his credit card of $600 from an Timm Auto Parts in St. Paul, MN. I contacted Timm and talked to Arron, he informed that he had received and order for a engine from Infant Auto Parts that was charged to my sons account. He supplied me the 302 number that he had for Infant. He said he was a third party to this issue and could not do anything else to help me.
I ordered and paid for a transmission which was not properly tested and was, in fact, non-functional, something that could not be derermined until it was installed in a car. The installation cost much more than the transmission itself. Since the error was on their side, I asked for part-compensation for installation and de-installation charges.
This they refused to acknowledge and sent me a replacement transmission under the same "warranty" which I paid to have installed (again), not to mention storage charges and other expenses incurred, and for which I was treated to a wait of nearly 2 months on their policy of 7-10 day shipping. The products they sell they never see (I understand they operate from a trailer on the outskirts of Las Vegas).
Their employee Mike is apparently there to run interference for Charles who manages (?) this outfit without ever having to answer the phone. I would suggest to the potential customer that they well might be in for an adventure, a very unpleasant one at that.
Do not let this Infant auto part take your money. They are thief . we are a yard in Texas and they scam up off of $1325. They are Thief and they will take your money and Run. DO NOT Trust this company. Always contact Auto Salvage yards Direct to purchase parts. Don't be a victim .

Mike never calls back. Everyone is from India go figure. Karma comes around and when it dose i hope i'm there
I had a similar problem with Infant auto parts, I am a recycler and they ordered a transmission form me here at Perk Auto Parts in Michigan and paid me with one of their customers cards, next thing that happened was a call from their customer stating that we had charged his card 600.00 I asked if he had called us and he said no that he had ordered a engine from Infant auto Parts! I get a charge back from our credit card processor!! I have been trying to talk to someone at Infant Auto Parts and I get put on hold and no one will answer the phone!! BEWARE OF INFANT AUTO PARTS!!!
Infant auto parts is a fraud and scammer. I ordered front end body parts, my card was charged $825 for an engine shipped to Mobile AL, no way to get ahold of infant auto parts by phone, text, or email. I have reported to BBB, FTC, NM attorney General, and local law enforcement. I am hoping to stop these scammers. if all scammed are willing to join in we can bring them to justice. Call you credit card and get them to do a charge back we will gain supporters in this fight for prosecution. my credit card company is starting their own 90 day investigation. NMAG is investigating as well as local law enforcement. The salvage yard where the engine came from has reported to Kentucky State Police (hopefully all salvage yards will do the same). if Las Vegas BBB has a growing list of complaints too share with law enforcement we can force them to find a new virtual physical address. if salvage yards will work with us we can pinpoint parts drops (the engine my card paid for was delivered to a tanning place in Mobile AL and signed for by a traceable AL DL #. these guys are not that smart and probably use the same woman and very few drop points.
This company is a scam. Please do not deal with them, they will steal your information and will not come through with anything other than excuses. They also work under Steve Auto Body with a 302 area code. Buyer Beware! Do NOT sell to them, Do NOT buy from them!!!!!!!!
