I got a puppy from Christy Davenport April 2021. She didn't tell me about his eye issues. I found out when someone showed me what she posted on Facebook. She called him Milo in her post.
He was born at the end of Dec 2020. Christy posted on Facebook about his eye. She was also asked on Facebook about him and how he was doing on January 16, 2021 (see photos). She replied 'He is still plugging along. Everyone has thier eyes open and he has half of 1 open. Just can't figure out why he is lagging behind'
So she knew something was wrong with his eye and did nothing. Then posted on January 25, 2021 that she had taken him to a vet that specializes in reproductive issues. WHAT? WHY? Why not an ophthalmologist??
She says his eyes were closed and she put warm compresses on this eyes. WHAT? WHY? This vet told her Milo had a bad eyeball infection. Doesn't sound like the words a vet would use but who knows what kind of vet she found.
Then she says on Facebook that the vet told her he will be blind in the one eye for sure and maybe have to have it removed. SHE NEVER TOLD ME ANY OF THIS!

I found all this out weeks after I got him home and noticed that he could not see in one eye.
Not only does she have a dirty kennel which likely caused the infection (feces etc) but she didn't tell me about his medical issues. NEVER TOLD ME !
Look at her Facebook posts (she posts as Indya Jade and Christy Davenport) and also look at the way her dogs live! On rocks 24/7 dirty moldy kennels. She should be shut down and put in jail!
In 2012 I placed my champion show dog CVJ's N AJ's Can't Buy Me Love (Shazam) which was the biggest mistake that I could of made. I was going through a nasty divorce and had to let most of my dogs go. I placed him with Alice Gettelfinger, Ramsey, Indiana a breeder from Wunderland Cockers with a 1st right of refusal in a signed contract. Meaning if she ever wanted to sell him she would come to me first.
She went behind my back and sold him in less than a months time. Per an online conversation on 12/21/2017 Alice stated to someone that “I e-mailed her and got no e-mail back so yes I placed him with Christy Davenport, Indya Jade Cockers in Brevard NC.”
He was sold to Christy Davenport and I will tell you what, if this person would of told me that she was going to sell him I would of bought him back in a heart beat and I state this to you because I have missed him from the minute he left me.
I wouldn’t of thought twice to give Christy back her money, heck Christy Davenport didn’t even pay Alice what she bought him for so there is no reason why Christy wouldn’t of sold him back to me.
I contacted Christy about getting him back and at one point she told me I could but she wanted to get one more litter out of him in the Spring. She changed her mind and that set his fate.
Shazam later died from whatever unknown reasons. She doesn't take her dogs to the vet. She let him die there in her crappy rock filled kennel.
I have beat myself up for allowing Alice Gettelfinger, Wunderland Cockers to have him as she is notorious for flipping dogs when done with them.
Bought a red roan puppy from Christy Davenport (Indya Jade cockers) in November 2020. Vet found walking mites due to the appearance of large, whitish mites as they crawled across the skin and fur of my puppy, and the excessive scaling that caused infection.
This is an uncommon but highly contagious skin parasite of dogs and puppies. It is highly contagious to both people and dogs.
My puppy had to be quarentined for two weeks and treated repeatedly. This was all reported to Christy. Christy refused to pay for any of the vet bills related to the walking mites even though they came from her kennel.
This was also reported to her county's animal control and they reported it to the state health department because of the ability to transmit this parasite to humans.
Her county's animal control is in contact with the NC state health department and continues to monitor Christy's kennel as of today 9-24-2021.
BEWARE of buying animals from Indya Jade kennel. The contagious parasite is difficult to get rid of in a large kennel environment.

It was my job to protect him and I failed.
