Here's the description of the fruit basket that I ordered for my ailing mother, who had just come back from the hospital - "Lovely gift of Supple Fresh Fruits Basket Hamper to make someone’s day. This invincible Basket is decked with 10 Kg Seasonal Fruits (2 Kg Apple, 2 Kg Pomegranate, 2 Kg Pear, 2 Kg available Seasonal Fruit, 1 Kg Banana and 1 Kg Guava)".
Before I could ask my mom, she told me that the fruit that was delivered was so bad that everything had to be thrown away. I was so disappionted. She told me that they had stuffed the basket with over ripe bananas (more than 2 kg). They also added over ripe watermelon and papayas. The apples, pears and guava were missing and the fruit that they received was all over ripened. The bananas were so bad that they were leaking all over and had to be thrown away immediately. I asked the company for a refund and after 2 days I received a response to send them a picture of the fruit received (which I did).
Then after 4-5 days, when I requested a response again, here's the response that I received:
"Upon your complaint we have reviewed the Images & investigated other instances with respective vendor/ agent and have concluded that the delivered fruits by our vendor were fresh, up to the mark and according to your placed order with mentioned gross weight as per market availability.
Kindly note, according to T&C stated in the respective website, images of items shown here are indicative and though we thrive to deliver similar or higher quality products, it may be possible that actual arrangement / item may vary due to reasons beyond our control/ depending on market availability or stock.
Kindly check the T&C section at respective website for further reference which a customer has to agree before placing order with us.
Hence, sorry to mention, we’ll not be able to proceed with your complain further against the subjected order."
Then I asked if they could send a replacement if they could not refund money and their response was the same although I had send them a picture showing that the order was wrong and bad but they clearly did not want to accept their mistake. Do not order from this website. Horrible and disappointing experience that no-one should ever go through. I am out Rs Rs. 2490 / $ 38.13, very disappointed and ashamed that I send my mom such a bad gift.
