Rip-off
My wife returned a table cloth that was too big, even though it said it would fit, using their return label. The total cost was 17.99 plus 1.75 tax and 5.43 shipping. She received only 8.79. When I questioned them, they said since we used their shipping label they were "charging" us 10.95 for shipping, and therefore we only get 8.79 credit. Why does it cost $5 to get it and $11 to return it?? Besides being too large, it was cheap in quality and looked ridiculous on the table. First and last time we do business with this company.
I purchased two sunshades from Improvements and I returned them as they would not work properly. I was issued a gift certificate. When I contacted Improvements I was told they would void the gift certificate and would issue a refund to my credit card. I later contacted my credit card company and found out that no credit was issued. I then called Improvements again and they said the gift certificate was all they could do as I had not returned the shades within 90 days of the purchase date. I do not want the gift certificate as I do not plan on purchasing anything from Improvements ever again.
Words cannot express how disappointed and disgusted I am with how you do business. If shipping was 13.95 to send me an item of obviously poor quality and inconsistent color, how in the world is it double that amount to return ship the very same items to you? I will never order from you again and will take every opportunity to provide honest negative reviews and feedback on multiple forums about your business and missing customer service and dishonest practices. Although customer service was very friendly, I am very disappointed to hear that they not only wouldn't replace the broken stand on the pull-up Christmas tree, but they also wouldn't sell me another stand!! I bought it at the end of the season last year with hundreds of dollars of other items, so I never put it up till now.
One leg of the stand was pulled off the center, so the tree leans to one side. They suggested I take the stand to a local Christmas tree store to see if they would sell me a stand. So disappointed! What kind of customer service is that?! Guess they don't care about return customers. I won't ever buy from Improvements again.
