The same thing happened to us and when confronted they were very ugly and even threatened me. I reported them to the Department of Consumer Affairs. Deceptive business practices. Better stated as scam.
We were contacted by Image Centre Distribution stating they were our current company that we have a contract with for our copier and toner. They asked if we needed toner which we did. They then had someone else call on a recorded line to verify the order.
Upon receiving the order we realized the toner was used and the bill was from Image Centre Distribution which is NOT the company we use. We do not pay for toner through our contract. This bill was for 1 toner for $693.28. Which is crazy in it self.
We called and spoke to Arthur Kirkland who became obnoxious, rude, threatening. We asked for credentials which he failed to provide. We asked to hear the recorded phone call showing how they misrepresented themselves- he refused. He called and when our receptionist answered he told her to "Shut up" and listen. It was out of control.
Arthur stated we needed to send product back and pay a 20% restock fee and if item was new and not used would issue a credit for difference. The product was not new when we received it, hence why we called.
