A female server who works in the evenings, was verbally/mentally abusive towards me. It was bullying.
Even though I was very considerate and friendly towards the staff and was a customer for years eating there frequently and spending about $50 in one sitting, she chose to vent on me. Her grudge towards me came from me leaving the restaurant too close to the closing time.
For example, the restaurant was open until 10 pm and I would arrive at around 8:30 pm, order a lot and eat slowly, proactively offer to pay at around 9:30 pm when the kitchen closed, and leave the restaurant at around 9:55 pm. Therefore, her attitude was that it was me and only me who prevented her from being able to leave at 9:35, 9:40, 9:45, ... instead of at 10 o'clock. It may have been common for me to be the only customer in the restaurant after 9:30 pm.
There seemed to be the same two servers in the evening for a long time. The "other" server is 5 stars! A server's eagerness to leave early before a consumer's rights, I guess. She said straight out, "you're the only one I don't like!" Any surprise I didn't want to return? Her boss pretty much gave me a "too bad, so sad" type of resolution and I was more expendable than that server. First time submitting a complaint like this in my life but "appalling treatment with no justice served."
Corporate-please REVIEW Videotape: Yesterday at approximately 10am I tried to pay for my meal using a Coupon (given to me at the Chippewa location on 2/18/20) & cash. The VERY LOUD african american 6' tall female employee interrogated me about the coupon. I'm assuming she's NEW and poorly trained, she had issues with the size of the coupon, and summoned her NINE year tenured AA colleague.
Both employees stated (1) the coupon should've been a much longer coupon (2) that their store on Chippewa won't get credit from a different locations coupon (3) questioned if it was my name on the coupon, etc. Corporate please review the videotape. At best, the interaction was nutty.
