Ignite Web Services Reviews

  • May 26, 2016

My run down Ignite's scam road started on December 19, 2015 when I paid $ 13, 000.00 to "Ignite Web Services". The salesman from Ignite was a telemarketer selling an ecommerce website, advertisements and a 12 months course about an online business. He said that a website would bring me much better income than an ebay business (which I already had). I was asked how much income I would like to earn, and when I replied: “At least $ 3000.00 per month”, the salesman assured me that it is entirely possible and that is why the fee for the services of this company is not unreasonable.

I was told to look up 2 successful websites which were built by this company. The salesman said that he had to find out if I qualified to join their success team and after talking to his superior he affirmed that I did. He told me that his company is responsible for the success of their clients and guarantees it. I was rushed through the purchase process, because supposedly I would lose a great business opportunity if I did not make a decision fast enough.

A representative of Ignite called me a few days later to ask me about my hobbies and interests. When he found out that I love cats, he suggested that I should sell cat supplies through my website. I became a member of the Topdawg Wholesale Company and paid a monthly fee of $ 15.00 from January to June 2014. I encountered many problems with this company which led to a cancellation of my membership. Also, I did not sell any cat supplies even though they were listed on my website and Ignite supposedly advertised for it.

In conclusion, I feel that the telemarketer who sold this business opportunity to me completely misrepresented the services I would receive, and if I had been properly informed of the risk I was taking before I made my purchase and what the real success rate was, I would not have signed up with Ignite Web Services. I contacted Ignite to try to get a refund but the sales rep only tried to sell me more services. After many attempts to contact a manager to get my money back I finally gave up. I contacted a company to help me get my money back and they worked with me the entire time. After a few weeks I finally got a refund settlement. It makes me happy that there are a few good guys out there. If anyone else needs help contact ICS they helped me so I'm sure they can help others in this situation too.

Hope this helps someone, just know you can get out of this mess! I did...

I became a member of their services in June 2014. I received coaching through Advantage which consisted primarily with Ebay. My web site was released in March 2015, but I am extremely dissatisfied with the results. All marketing was supposed to have been done by them according to the Platinum contract. Monthly reports were supposed to be emailed to me which I never received! I pleaded to find out what marketing was being done but no one had an answer. I asked to be contacted by Marketing....never happened! After several complaints, I was sent reports consisting of nothing more than three months of Social Media Marketing, Now I am being told I have to do all marketing now, and was promised someone to assist me, but this never happened either. The web site has errors that even I can recognize from looking at source pages. The site went live in March 2015 which as resulted in one product order as of October 20, 2015. I am an extremely dissatisfied member, and finally asked for some compensation, but I was denied. I was never even asked the amount I was requesting. This is not near what was explained to me in the beginning by the person who gave details about this program. This information is what I based my decision on of moving forward with this! This person is conveniently no longer with the company, but there is a recording of our conversation which no one is interested enough to listen to this. I paid $9000 for what has basically amounted to some Ebay coaching and a web site that is not working properly or producing any revenue. I am due to be compensated without a doubt! My next complaint will be filed with the the Office of the Attorney General.

In March 2015, I began a very costly journey through some ripoff online programs. First, I signed up for some internet training classes to teach me how to create a profitable online business. This then progressed into another purchase through GoGo Dropshippers to give me access to reputable drop shippers for my business.

I then was contacted by Ignite Webservices to build a profitable website - all of this costing me over $10,000. I am embarrassed to admit that I fell into this trap but I also want to warn other unsuspecting consumers of this ripoff program. Right now I would ask for my money $7400.00 refunded from Ignite Webservices for the website package that has never been completed as promised or described. They gave me an unfinished website of poor quality that customers cannot finish any orders, the support is never available and their administrative link is full of errors.

The online traiining company has also tried to charge me a monthly fee for web hosting - which was never explained or in any of the purchase receipts. I refused to pay it and they took my website offline until the Ignite account representative said they would host it for 6 months. I asked for a refund at this time for a breach of contract. They ignore my requests.

This has been a terribly costly experience but I trusted that I was working with a reputable company. I invested $7400.00 with Ignite Webservices in May 2015 for a website, marketing and their social media package. None of those things have been delivered as described in the purchase receipts. I have tried sending them emails asking for a refund and they are being returned. I cannot trust to answer any phone calls anymore for fear of being contacted by another company trying to sell me new web services. This has been a true nightmare!

At this point, I want this poor quality website taken off line and my account closed with Ignite Webservices with a full refund for lack of goods promised being delivered.

Vinson Walker from Visible called me some time in June telling me my site didn’t have content and I needed them to fix the problem. He told me that Google didn't like cookie cutter websites and showed me the Google guidelines. He said I was very close to losing my reputation because I wasn't following Googles guild lines. This is ultimately holding me back from being profitable with Google. I told him that i just started on the site and that I was going to give ************* the chance to do what they said they would. Vinson insisted they had already done all they were going to do. I finally did buy a package that Vinson said I needed. When I received my credit card statement I was charged 3 different charges from Ignitews, Gogodropship and Kreative. I called Vinson immediately to see what was going on but he didn’t answer (go figure) The next day I received a call back from Shelley at Kreative and she told me that all 3 companies are owned by their parent corporation – Visible.net and from now on the new company name is Kreative. I felt like I had been lied to because they never said anything about the upcoming change. They promised me a better website and better rankings if I paid them THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! A person my age in her 60’s doesn’t have that kind of money to be throwing around with every company that calls you on the phone. Like a real dummy I used all my hard earned money because I felt this was my only option for me to be successful with my website after investing so much. (He even had me borrow against my IRA) 2 months later and still NOT A SINGLE SALE, I receive a call from Candace at Kreative and she tells me that if I don’t upgrade to HTML5 I would be kicked off the web. I hung up the phone. She called back 3 more times. I answered and she told me her company was successful, that she doesn't need my business but I need hers. This was craziest experience I've ever had with a company. I've never felt so harassed and threatened just for not wanting to use someone's services. Most companies are professional and show a little class, this one will apparently use whatever tactic necessary to bully you into utilizing their pseudo-expertise. The company is flagged across the web as a rip-off risk. Stay clear of these tricksters!!!!!!!!
