I was diagnosed with ADHD and ADD respectively in May of 2007 and have been on a combination of Adderall XR and Adderall standard and have had little to no trouble since then. It helped with focus and the disjointed nature of how my mind likes to hop around thus impeding my work and even interpersonal relationships with family and friends. The last straw was when I had an entire conversation with my wife lookjing her in the eye and could not remember what she had said because my mind had wandered. Regardless this new Doctor shows up and without ever putting her eyes on me personally, relatively sight unseen she cncels the refills that the previous physician had sent to my pharmacy. To be fair this doctor's issue is that she wants me re-evaluated by a Psychiatrist. I don't have an issue with that, the issue is that after all these years of proven results and proof of efficacy she summarily decided to send me down a road that will cost me literlly thousands in visits and nonsense, not to mention taking me from the job I was able to find after losing my original careeer to the pandemic. I'm genuinely appalled and uneblievably disgusted by this doctor, her antics and lack of (at the very least) professional courtesy to tell me anything directly. She is a coward with no genuine conviction to take the time to even talk to her patient. Because at North East Georgia you are NOT a patient you are a number and this doctor tipifys that with her crusader mentality. To say nothing of the lack of genuine concern for the wellbeing of patients.
