IDEX Corporation Reviews
Today I recieved a pair of cheap watches from this company. I never ordered them. It as charged against my paypal account.
Contacted PAYPAL to report the fraud.
As a further insult the invoice was for a 6 pc tool set. Again nothing that I ordered. This appears to be a prevelant SCAM with this company.
I Recieved a cheap watch in the mail i hadn't ordered a watch so I got to researching. I order a bed lift for my father months ago they said the tracking g number didnt get scanned right so couldnt track. Never Recieved bed lift but Recieved this stupid watch in mail.
New Fraud Warning...
I am speechless...(I know, can you believe that!) BUT, there is a New Scam and Fraud... and I have researched several of these and they are all from China. I am also caught in this fraud...
Part 1:
This is an update on my $167.00 Windmill I ordered, yes from an ad here on FB, which I WILL NEVER ORDER off FB again...but I did what I thought was my homework, and researched the company, found they listed their location address in Colorado Springs, CO...which after I realised this is a SCAM, I researched further and found they are in China...and that was the 1st part of this SCAM (which was reported to FB and they will do nothing!) Many of these Chinese businesses are getting US addresses and listing them on their websites as their address, so trusting American Idiots like ME fall for it... I found one to be a residential home for sale, another a hospital, one in Ft. Worth, which I called the actual company (manf. plant) that was actually at that address and verified, that biz was not located there etc...They were SHOCKED to find out FB would not do anything about this...Have found many~many of these scams companies.
Fast Forward to Part Two:
Ok...so what they do to keep your money...when you dispute the charge (I have NEVER RECEIVED or HEARD FROM THIS COMPANY since mid Nov. when I ordered this...no word from my requests to verify the cancelation etc...) on your credit card, they reply...and I am in the process of and have to wait until tomorrow to view the documents (and yes, my credit card reversed the charge and charged it back to me!)
So, I received a little watch in the mail this past week, had NO CLUE where it came from or why. I have investigated the address...and found numerous SCAM ALERTS...What happens...you order an item...in my case a $167.00 windmill for the garden...and they send you some trinket to show an item has been shipped to you...There are so many posts where people have ordered large purchases and received a little plastic toy block...
No worries...I will get my funds reversed...and may start a campaign to stop this internet fraud...starting with FACEBOOK...
When something rubs my "right and wrong" values the wrong way, they need to know...they need to HANG onto their hat...
I AM NOT DONE WITH THEM...
Facebook kept popping up with this ad for kids toy truck, it was very large truck and gas engine, after months I received two cheap tiny trucks battery operated. I spent over 250.00 dollars for junk. I HOPE THIS COMPANY IS GLAD THEY RIPPED OFF TWO LITTLE BOYS cHRISTMAS PRESENTS.
I ordered boxes to put shoes in, instead I received a watch. I emailed them and they want to keep half my money and for me to keep a watch that I didn't order. To get a full refund, they want me to send the watch back at my expense. That's just theft! I want my money back or what I actually ordered.
I opened a package today which contained a watch I did not order. I am concerned that it is in place of something that I did order for cmas or that someone is ordering in my name. In any event I do not want it and would like to return it and receive, if anything, what I did order.
Clearly there is a chinese label under the IDEX one and IDEX is listed as the return address.
IDEX acts as the final link in the fraudulent sales scheme by delivering packages containing worthless trinkets that generate USPS tracking numbers and proof of deliveries. The transactions originate with the internet vendor "Newboat" ([email protected]) and PayPal acts as the financial mechanism that enables it. The fraudelent proof of delivery is used to dupe any PayPal investigation and the packages are re-labeled from Chinese origin.
Original shipping label is from China. A USA shipping label was put over it from this IDEX company. BOTH labels have my name, address and phone # on it. I have NO idea who this company is and I have never ordered any watches yet here I am with 2 identical watches sent to me in the mail.. Obviously some sort of mail scam from a fraudulent company. I see others having similar issues with them.
Just an FYI.. these are 1.00 type super junk watches... WalMart wouldn't even sell them. Wonder if China is sending some more nasty bat crap virus to us via the mail now.
As far as I know I did not order any watches or anything from this company.
IDEX sent my wife something you'd get from a vending machine for a dollar instead of what was represented in the Facebook video.. Today we received a mens watch we never ordered.. I also received a telescope that was nothing like the video represented, a magnifying glass would be stronger..
This address on the package with this "substitute" item was not the company listed on the online video sales pitch. The email I got after ordering has disappeared somehow from my email. When I google this company, I can find no phone number or contact information or website. China scam!!!
oRDERED A BATTERY OPERATED cHAIN SAW FROM AN AD ON FACEBOOK.RECEIVED A CHAIN AS STATED ABOVE.
All I got was the chain but no chain saw.
