Hired iDevelop Constuction to do stucco work on house in January 2017, owner pulled Permit, deposit $4900 made in January, 3/8 -$2800and 3/14 $2800 were paid, total of $10,500.
Work started on the house about 3/5. Did not pass inspection on 3/14/2017 and recommendations were given by the inspector on how to correct which includes getting a Plywood Certification Letter from an Engineer, because the plywood was covered with mesh. Owner did and Sadi was contacted by Engineer.
Plywood were incorrectly placed in two sections, nails not proper distance, about 6 sections of the house was covered in mesh so the inspector could not see the plywood.
No communication from company and no work until 3/35/2017 - replaced incorrectly placed plywood, while doing work, nails were driven in A/C coil, not cooling, this was reported to Sadi, did nothing. No work, no calls from company and several calls made by engineer to remove mesh to expose plywood in other sections.
After several calls to Sadi, told ower he is coming to work, but never showed up, April 11, owner called Sadi and told him his service will no longer be required because of all the delays, failure to follow city codes and poor customer service.
Owner suggested a refund of $9000, which is the cost of completing the house- which includes removing mesh, replaced incorrectly placed plywood for 1st inspection, add lath/mesh- 2nd inspection and then stucco final inspection.
Was told by Sadi 4/11/2017 that he would speak to his father and get back to owner, no calls, owner called on 4/20 Sadi said her would talk to his father and get back to me on 4/24, never call. Complaint filed on 4/28 to BBB in Florida.
I report this company because they dont make my pay salary in time and i still waiting. the owner of the company alegate they dont have money now to pay my week salary and is no only me, i know few more employee on the same situation. I am a household and i need pay my bills on time. This is hard situation for me and my family. For this issue i contact the department of labor to report this company.
