Iconic Auctions is a good and resposive Auction House, until they have your items. Once you submit your items to them, there are no Emails answered or phone calls returned. According to Myndee Krymer, they all wear many hats. Meaning that they all do 3 or 4 jobs, which would be confusing to anyone.
I guess they left out the job of Customer Service. They are a huge Auction House, but can't pay anyone to answer the phone. Getting to talk to a real person, doesn't exist after they have your items. They claim to have the fastest Payouts of any Auction House. (as little as 5 days) Hilarious!! Read a little further and they claim no more than 45 days. When inquiering, it's not 45 days, but 45 Business Days. Misleading to say the least.
I made the mistake of Consigning my items to them for the May 2017 Auction. Here I am, August 1, 2017 still waiting to be Paid for my items. No emails get answered, no phone calls get returned, so not much I can do. Just thinking that by filing a complaint, it may stop others from getting this type of Treatment. I have learned a good bit about this Company over the last few weeks.
They run 5 Businesses out of the same Office at the same address. Guess it could be confusing, but leaving Customer Service out completely, is absurd! The Office is Charity Benefits Unlimited and from the outside and the inside, you would never know there were any other Businesses at this location. A little shady to start with? The other Businesses at this location are 1) Custom Benefits Unlimited (Corporate Sports and Musice Autographs) 2) Frameworks (Picture Framing Studio) 3) Press Pass Collectible (Music and Sports Autograph Dealer) 4) Iconic Auction which Sells Music, Entertainment and Sports Autographs.
Yeah, I was shocked too! A Music and Sports Autograph Dealer in the same Office as a Auction House who Sells Music and Sports Autographs. May not be illegal, but it's Definitely Unethical? I guess, if you don't have to Pay a commission to Buy or Sell your items, it greatly benefits someone? The sad thing is, Charity Benefits Unlimited holds Auctions for Charities, to raise Money. There are 2 items on Ebay, as I am writing this Report, that are Fake and have a COA from Charity Benefits Unlimited. Is this benefiting Charities, or the ones who are doing these Auctions?
What happens to these Charities and those who support them, when they figure out that the items they received while supporting these Charities, were Fake Music and Sports Autographs? It's not the Charities, as supporters will no longer want to contribute. You may ask, how does someone who runs a Memorabilia Dealer and an Memorabilia Auction House where everything is Authenticated, let these Fakes slip through, to Charity Contributors? Is it because the average person, knows very little, if any at all, about Autographs. These are just my Opinions on these Businesses.
The Final straw, 4 of these 5 Businesses are owned and operated by Kyle Bell, who has somewhat of a Checkered Past, according to the Private Investigator that I Hired. For some reason, Iconic Auctions is run under Iconic Memorabilia and is Registered in another State. 4 of these Businesses are Registered in Scottsdale, AZ, so why is the 5th Registered somewhere other than Scottsdale? Do they not want people to know who owns it? (Kyle Bell) Do they not want people to be able to tie all of these Businesses together. Is it due to the Checkered past of Kyle Bell? Or, they just don't think it's any of your Business, who you are Dealing with? I prefer to know, who I'm doing Business with, don't you?
Anyways, if you don't mind having your emails unanswered or your phone calls ignored, this is the Business for you. If you don't mind getting your Money, at twice the time they Advertise to get it to you, then this is the Business for you. If you don't care about who you are doing Business with or the shady things they do, then this is most definitely the Business for you. All experiences stated above, are from my experiences with this Company. All opinions stated above, are from the information provided to me, through a Private Investigator and the world wide web. These days, you can find out about any Person, Business or anything else, thanks to the Internet.
